To new players: Please dont dive into Tunis campaign. It's wasted

If you are veteran, then we all already know to avoid this campaign.
But for new players, read this and know why to avoid this campaign.

If you just want to have some good screenshots, or enjoy some view, then dont mind this and try some matches.
But DO NOT PUT EFFORT TO THIS CAMPAIGN!
I am really, just want to end this campaign SOON. And the more I play at this campaign, the more I mad about it.

Excuse me?
For most matches I played this YEAR, the chance of not meeting a trash team is nearly impossible. Most time team just rushing to occupying tanks.
And too large maps causing lots of dirty way of traditional games–camping–sniping instead of pushing–building barrier so that block AI.

The willingness of fight is extreme weak here in Tunis campaign.

Also dev is constantly nerfing Allies side. Causing the OVER balance the faction.

For today 3 matches, I never wins as Allies.
Because the few veterans that still play at this campaign all switched to Axis!

But I am the “unlucky” one that already completed Tunis Axis, and have to withstand the poor balance here.

Also, do you want to unlock MP40 for the 4th times?
Do you want to withstand 8 whole campaign levels without engineer?

IT’s EXTREME COMMON of not seeing any enemies!
Where the hell is the AI goes?

They are coming from map spawnpoint.

Tunis’ sectors are too far away from sectors. And AI squad can’t use (actually players rarely build any rallypoint) rallypoint. So as long as your team is stronger than the enemy (human tends to flee the match if there’s a slight losing trend here in Tunis, way worse than any campaign), you can not encounter enemy!
Tunis is very common to find out a complete empty sector.
Because human players tend to camp elsewhere. And AI is still far behind the frontline.

Come back when you got an whole day not winning (perhaps 2-3matches tops) ^^ Happened to me in Moscow (not always ofc but usually landed around 70-90% loss). But i get your frustration.

This Forum is an weird place though. Ppl said to me go to Normandy since Germany dominates there, then i went after completing Moscow and behold it was pretty even steven. Then i heard Allies completely dominates Tunis and now they get wrecked…Guess its about time and a place then. Except IL2 (Moscow) and Fg42 is still OP for now and maybe on the line P47s armor (not sure yet since could be ok when to come to think of it)…

How ever i do also understand that things have changed with countermeasures and such to keep in mind

Wish I had bigger maps at Moscow and Berlin.

Posts like this are actually contributing to the problem, you know.
Neither allies nor axis is in too terrible spot. What causes these imbalances is lack of players in general. Normandy is way worse balanced than Tunis is IMHO.

Are engineers on level 8 problematic? Hell yes, decision to put them that far was stupid.
Are more open maps problematic as you are trying to tell us? Hell no, at least it is not completely ruled by full auto meta, that is actually the part that is good on Tunis.
Do some maps suck for one team? Yes… First two caps on oasis are best example, but I wouldn´t really blame it on size of the maps, rather than on a lack of any meaningful cover for attacking team, or poor placement of actual capture point that gives defenders way too many advantages.

I needed 3 times the playtime to get to lvl 20 in tunis compared to any other campaign.

There just issnt much happening in this campaign, when I usually end up with 5000-8000 points each match, in tunis 2000 -3000 is a good round.

spawnpoints are absolutely too far away from each other.

I didnt believe I would ever say this but my favorite match so far was a “conquest” round with lots of cqc, sadly this “map” is so rare that I only played it once so far.

This is 100% correct. When the Axis first got the Panther Normandy was a landslide for the Axis where now it is much more even. Same thing in Berlin when the Tiger rolled out and now it swings more to the Allies. As the players shift so do the landslide wins

It’s like the balance shift post-panther in Normandy all over again
how the turntables

Tunisia always has dogshit balance, but at least now axis got their time to shine

The only two problems of tunesia are: playerbase (like in all other campaigns) and repetative weapons (that contributes to the playerbase problems).

Discouraging new players from this campaign won’t solve the playerbase issue. Great surprise, I know.

The campaign itself is imo quite fun and it’s a shame it’s potential is wasted.

It is. Due to too large and empty maps. too far away spawn point.
The battle density here is too low, thus too low XP per minute.

This topic even though a suggestion, but is to players.
I will make another topic about how to fix this.

What exactly is the Problem? One of the Best Campaigns, but to easy to reach Max Level…
maybe This will be in Future the Campaign with the highest Endlevel. Most Potential at all.

How? Cause the MG34 exists?

Equipment doesnt matter here. People complained about the MP28 ruining the complete meta, yet Axis winrate are better for a while now.

I would say, apart from the required Matchmaker, the Campaign is very balanced, like Moscow.
sometimes you Lose, sometimes someone else Wins.

LOL, how many players has MG34? Or even PZIIIJ?
It’s the map side nerf.

Wow the map is great true ralley point are rare but the fact that no one has a keyboard to say a word and marking targets are rare i use stucka 87 and go for tanks since troops are hard to spot but everyone use the markers to pinpoint enemy 1 mark where thay are the other to say thay are going here

As far as ive seen , people complain for not having engeneer until lvl 8.
Then they complain because few people actualy use them in battles…
