To all f2p players who will play stalingrad

like others I am also disappointed that they locked iconic things like the ppsh and t34 behind full access but to players who have unlocked or will unlock ppsh41 drum mag at lvl26 berlin may be able to transfer it to Stalingrad as I saw that the transfer system depends on the unlocks on both campaigns (for ex.berlin and Moscow) and if anyone has unlocked the ppsh or avt40 in both Stalingrad and berlin may be able to transfer it to Stalingrad or if they purposely disable it like the untransferable lee enfield mk4 in Tunisia and Normandy then nothing can be done so there is a chance of getting ppsh and incase of t34 we may not get that but kv1 is there for us.

I think there won’t be any transfers possible between the the new pay to play campaign and the 4 ftp ones. It’s really like a standalone campaign.

this may happen
“rank of weapon will change after transfer” .

but imo, since we get weapons 1 level from max, this might be disabled in stalingrad.

my own thought the weapons have a different functioning
AKA lee-enfield n4 normandy withaut bayonet

That’s what I meant. I think Keo mentioned it somewhere in a previous dev blog but I cannot find where. It doesn’t matter much though, at 8x xp rate last guns will get unlocked fast, so no transfer would be needed either way

Well, I’m pretty sure that new damage changes that will affect SMGs in Stalingrad will sucesfully prevent anyone from transfering their PPSHs from another campaign…

But honestly it would be nice if that was possible

Hopefully weapons in stalingrad has sling or some other “important” feature so those are totally different weapons

Something like a PPSH and a T34 shouldnt be locked. Theyre too iconic

But to transfer a weapon you still have to have it unlocked in the campaign you are transferring it to, which can be very high, I don’t wanna grind everything again after Moscow

I’m thinking the same, but only because of the Damage buff/nerf for bolties/smg’s. They might make transfers there limited or just disable it since they would effectively be different weapons due to the stat differences

Not only that, but devs aren’t the fools some ppl here claim them to be: how much of an exploit would that be to buy weapons in Stalingrad, where you’re guaranteed to obtain them max star - 1 only to transfer them in ftp campaigns after? They won’t allow it. And it’s fine. I support the devs 100% on this new business model for the new campaign aimed at paying customers… BUT I STILL love the 4 ftp campaigns in which ftp players ARE important. As such I should NOT have any advantage over them in the old ftp campaigns because I’ve bough the Stalingrad expension.

Did change transfer cost?

Last time i checked transfer cost for fully upgraded guns it was cheaper to just ignore whole transfer and just buy/upgrade gun in campaing where i was going to transfer it

No, you will save a little IF the the gun you transfer is low star in a campaign and high star in the receiver one.

Also in Stalingrad, all bough weapons will be max star minus 1, so you bypass and save up on 2 upgrades tiers, which WOULD make transfer from here advantageous

SINCE DF STILL HASN’T CORRECTED BRONZE WEAPONS ORDER INCOME TO REFLECT BRONZE TROOP ONES, LOOKING AT YOU DARKFLOW!!!

but if the weapons have a new pattern of fire is it not possible that the game considers them as different weapons from those we already have? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

There’s that too. They’re supposed to test those in Stalingrad, deciding if it’s worthwhile to implement in the “old” campaigns as well…

But I simply believe transferring things won’t be possible, as Stalingrad is a different kind of game entirely compared to the 4 ftp campaigns. It’s a different business model, as such I’d bet high transferring will be a no no.

Meh… more like would benefit players too much cough cough.
Image getting high stars PPSh for only two or three silver orders and no bronze orders while you would need masses of orders to upgrade them in the core campaigns. Even the transfer costs would be a joke compared to the upgrade costs.

Speaking of exploit, I’ve been thinking of something. That same max star -1 is also happening to troops for full access owners. Since all troops regardless of type are 1 silver order, what’s to stop me from intentionally buying star assaulter III’s that are guaranteed 4/5 stars and making a huge amount of bronze order profits off selling those guys. Granted you could do the same in the other campaigns, but there you still have massive odds that the troop will be 2/3 star which doesn’t give a lot compared to 4/5 star guys. It would give me a big advantage in the ftp campaigns would it not.

For reference
4 star Tier 1’s give 5 bronze, 4 star Tier II’s give 14 bronze , 4 star Tier III’s give 18 bronze
5 star Tier 1’s give 28 bronze, 5 star Tier II’s give 54 bronze, 5 star Tier III’s give 82 bronze
