Im not a tank expert but isn’t the tiger a little too much for the sherman 76? i don’t think it can even fight properly against a panther (again im not a tank expert).

Can any of the american tank destroyers be a better option? or… maybe im going crazy with this, but what about the pershing? (or is going to be a king tiger counter?).

My main campaign is axis in Normandy (max level), i love the idea to use the tiger but hell i don’t know… i think the armors here are getting more and more unbalanced.

Tiger is basically a downgrade from the panther tbh.
And yeah, an M18 hellcat would be cool. No pershing though, as I don’t think those were in Normandy. Comet would be better.

gun is but armor, especially side armor, is much much better and when angled it will be immune to every single gun the americans have

I literally just seen a panther and tiger in Normandy spawned in together and both got raped by infantry, best tank our team had was a stuart so I can tell you Tiger wont magically rule the battlefield

PS: We won the match

I’m not seeing this as an issue greater than the imbalance already introduced by the Jumbo and made worse by adding the Panther. Tiger’s gun is worse than Panther, and Armor isn’t angled, it’s slower and has more weak points. Yeah, it’s gun can kill any allied tank it sees ( I think, might be wrong about it penning jumnbo from the front), but that’s a problem we already had in the Panther.

Only perfectly angled armor will be better than a panther’s front. Americal 76mm can pen front plate very easily otherwise (nmot sure if 75 can). The only thing the uparmored side will really do is protect you from stuarts.

The truth is, it’s an alternative at best. Which is why it’s funny to see people crying about it.

Imo though, 76mm sherman should’ve been added earlier and the tiger’s counter should’ve been a hellcat.

Well jumbo never was a real problem, one shot on the side by an AT or a good demo charge and done.

He is on the grey zone? no problem… a suicide charge with your guys and he is done too, is what i do all the time lol (at the cost of the entire squad but hey he is not camping anymore). A plane work too but im not a pilot.

Light tank and mediums tank have a really hard time against heavys on both side (main is axis, but i play both sides) i think a lot of people need a brain all over the world… anyway thats my main concern. New players will have a hard time with their low level armors on both sides.

The hellcat gun is good right? but what about the armor?

Tried this once on the rail station map. i was confident enough that my sacrfice will pay off but the jumbo is too far for me to reach. but my team won at the end… the jumbo lives however not a single death
