The new maps look great, I seem to get the British map a lot (Sword Beach).
When I get DD Omaha, I love the layout, new buildings, the only thing which will take time is learning where allied soldiers attack from as axis, please don’t say beach.
Sometimes I think I’m holding point , and perhaps I am misjudging cap zones, but regularly lose the points and on Axis BR3, we usually get steamrolled…
I see blown up Tigers, I think BR4 match on here would be really fun too!

A large map with plenty of cover, numerous flanking opportunities and big objectives, all while the map also looks good.
Its amazing, shame that the Match Making keeps starting other Normandy maps instead.
Yeah. No offense to the other Normandy maps but I wish I could play the new Omaha and Sword Beach exclusively in my Normandy maps rotation. Only Omer is on par in terms of fun, but that’s because it’s an old personal favourite that it just works.
The new set of maps give me this classic WW2 FPS game vibe that was much needed in Enlisted. I like it.
Ironically, today I played more matches on the old Normandy maps, but I also reached at least two of the new ones. It’s really entertaining because it seems designed for fast-paced combat and good cover, but I certainly didn’t like the beach map much, especially since I didn’t know much about the map’s geography, and defending the bunker was quite confusing and felt like a maze. By the time I found the exit, they had already captured the point! XD It was clear that some players already knew the map, so that was a significant advantage for them.

Just setup a custom match with one map option. Then just select one new map at a time. You can then play on that single map only in order to examine it in detail.
I generally setup custom matches on new maps to get to know them.
My favourite map is Omer (invasion), but since I practically never get to play a match on Omer with humans, I have to setup custom matches to play on Omer (invasion).
So far a nice map with good layout - though overall because of all the bushes and lots of cover it is definitely a CQC map with no point for vehicles.
Its a pure infantry map, which on itself sucks when there are vehicles in this game - but as it plays very nice I dont see how one can complain about this.
I am trying to play this map as BR4, with tigers ,panthers and Firefly, Achilles fights, should be really fun, but so far got every other Normandy map…
It’s really a shame that whenever a new map is released, we never get an event that features that new map. That way, people could really get a taste of it.
But hey, the important thing is that we have events for April Fools’ Day and Halloween. Smh.
the new Omaha map looks very nice! Props to SnowieW and anyone else that worked on the new map they did an awesome job. A very welcome change from reverse D-Day. I keep getting Omaha confrontation and nothing else, it’s like invasion mode or sword beach map do not exist at all.
