Thoughts on lend-lease stuff in soviet tech tree/events?

i wanted to make a suggestion for something(s) but i wanted to take the temperature of the general opinion of having more lend-lease things for the soviets

me personally i love the lend-lease things but a lot are event or premium, maybe an expanse of the soviet tech tree and some future event thingies with the most popular lend-lease things could be done?

Copypasted stuff doesn’t really belong into the tech tree. Otherwise, there’s no point in having factions in the first place.

The only lend-lease tech tree equipment should be in the Allied tech tree, where they belong. Soviets get such gear as unique collectibles and for variety in the form of event or premium inclusions, but if you want to play with such gear en masse, you should expect to have to play the faction of its origin.

Now, look at things this way; this setup benefits everyone.

The Allies get a piece of equipment in their tech tree, in the future that same equipment can be added as a event item for the Soviets. Two-for-one content avenue. And, more interestingly, if a lot of foreign gear is event or premium items, then domestic gear is in turn more likely to become a tech tree inclusions instead.

And, isn’t that better in the end…?

Either way, Valentine, Lewis, and M1A1 Half-Track for the Allied tech tree!

Lend lease stuff is one thing, but ONLY if the original faction has it in THEIR TT…the Soviets have a lot of things that the Allieds don’t…Lewis MG Premium squad, their halftrack M3A1 Premium APC, Winchester M1895 TT rifle, etc. It’s off-putting when the nation who built it doesn’t have access to it…even in events.

Especially considering there is enough original stuff they can copy and paste from WT.

Well, Enlisted devs simply have no other path at this stage in the game. The path of alternative reality, paper items, fantasy items has been chosen. This is their current narrative. Likewise, lend-lease falls into the category where, having nothing to add to the tree due to “asymmetrical balance”, they have to take extremes, apart from trying to maintain uniqueness.
