So I was playing a game of BR2 Germany today with a mate when I saw Thompson 100 and the iconic mohawk of the Thompson 100 paratrooper squad and I was really confused does anyone know how this could of happened.

Was it a custom match? If so, then I don’t think BR levels apply. If normal game play, not sure unless it was a bot. I’m not for sure, but I don’t think bots follow the same rules as players. 
Cant be a bot. Bots never use paratrooper squads. They do have other premiums like colt monitor and turner enfield. I guess it was a player who found a exploit

It wasn’t a custom match or a bot you can go to my replays if you want the battle was Mountain pass West and the person with the squad was GoldKestrel6537@live.

Its a BR3/2 game, so I have no clue how hes done this, maybe he somehow confused the game making it think it was the BR3 US paras instead of the 100rnd paras?
Because the rest of his lineup is BR2. (Except some BR3 Weapons, because ofc it is)

i think if you buy high br premium right after you start playing and are still in your first few bot games this happens… not sure on this though as i cba to try it myself.
Did your mate forget to remove a high end weapon from lineup?

I checked the replay, there is only 1 player with BR5 equipment, everyone else has BR2/BR3.
And player with BR5 equipment, only had the para squad, and everything else was BR2/3

I dont think this guy did it intentionally, since the guy with the BR5 squad was kinda dogshit ngl, but even his lineups and etc were a mess, but certainly an interesting bug
A few days ago I was playing Germany BR1 and there was a Churchill BR3 on the other side Lol, but I destroyed it using TNT on the tower
I went looking through his replays and he has played over 60 games.
