Just because a squad is paratrooper doesn’t mean it doesn’t struggle and there the Thompson 100 gets outclassed by the TT m1928AC anyway even with its small mag, BR IV would be the perfect place for it, plus why does mag size dictate BR anyway? A increased mag size doesn’t fix the other issues with the gun. It’s has the power of a br3 gun but it’s mag shouldn’t dictate it’s auto br 5. With the Hyde it’s outclassed and with stuff like the kugelblitz they just don’t belong in br5

Also no, the Thompson 100 does not get outclassed by the 1921AC… it has an entire extra 50 rounds… meaning you need to reload twice the amount than the AC.

Again magazine size doesn’t really matter if the stats are that bad already like the stg 44(15) is in br iii but the tt stg is br v, the stg in lower br even with the lower mag is a monster it the same thing with the bren MK I 100, br iv is way to high, a mag doesn’t fix the other issues
Mag size shouldn’t dictate the br, more rounds means more bullets yes but if you manage the ammo well then mag size isn’t an issue for experienced players. The Thompson 50 was down tiered from br v why not?
It’s just my main problem is the allies don’t have a premium paratrooper squad bellow br v, Japan has one, Germany has one, and the Soviets can go at any br. Even if just a grease gun it would still be appreciated for those who missed out on the event squads and don’t wanna gamble😒 I just want a way to have allied paratroopers in low br excluding event or a way at least a way to directly buy them because id do ANYTHING to buy the paramarines
I don’t like br v allies and much I prefer br iii allies but I can’t use my paratroopers, if there was a way to swap weapons, buy more paratroopers, he’ll even a new paratrooper event, that’s something I’d play for. It just seem like paratroopers are the most overlooked class because of its exclusivity and that pick rate gap between main tt squads and paratroopers needs to be closed
Actually, the magazine should hold 10 rounds, not 15. The MKB 42H doesn’t perform as well as the STG44 in the BR V, which has more vertical and horizontal recoil And a lower cadence that makes it obsolete in said BR V
The Thompson doesn’t come alone, but with a squad of Paratroopers with heavy weaponry in The Box, making it a strong class. The Thompson has a good rate of fire, good vertical recoil control, and a 100-round magazine that no other faction has. And the closest one (PPSH-41) is also at BR V, so it wouldn’t be fair to lower the Allied submachine gun’s BR only when the other Factions have weapons that can receive the same treatment.

There are br 2 paratroopers for every other nation but the allies plus the box is dependent on the br your playing at so that isn’t really an argument, the devs could also just add a premium br 2 paratrooper squad so there won’t be any fomo like from events or gambling with the boxes
Yes, but you forgot to mention that the 100-round Thompson has outstanding performance compared to the other paratrooper weapons of the other factions (except the Soviets).
The m1a1 para has a little worse stats besides the mag size and that does very well. The base m1928a1 is br3 already and is basically the best Thompson between br3 and the Thompson m1928ac which is in br5. The base 1928a1 does well at its br but it can’t width-stand a comparison with something like the Hyde let alone T20 or m2 carbine. A smg shouldn’t do worse than rifle at cqc, but that’s been a long term issue. The premium NKVD squad makes sense at br5 because it has the vertical grip and has a higher stability and less vertical recoil.
At least allow the m1928 100 squad to swap to the Thompson 50 and lock the Thompson 100 to that squad but only allow them to use the Thompson 50

It definitely should to some degree. Just FYI though, the para’s thompson was the best in game before the AC came out. It had the lowest recoil values at the time and is actually better (stat wise) than the TT version. The AC definitely outclasses it though now.
Honestly, i think this is more of an issue of Paratroopers being absolutely trash rather than the gun being bad. It was already terrible to begin with but ever since the addition of AA tanks, Paradropping thesedays are just asking for a quick death. As if the people actively shooting down a very slowly falling paratroopers from the ground were not enough, AA tanks shreds the transport airplane even before the paratroopers make a jump now.

Agreed, it’s more of a bigger issue than just the weapon and with paratroopers, the gap between the class itself and tt squads is a wide jump, paratroopers are basically just a mediocre version of guerrilla but without the ability to assess the grey zone they are just worse.
If the Thompson isn’t outclassed by the Hyde, why is it before the Hyde in tt and the only Thompsons that compete with it are the m1928 50 and the m1921 ac also with a 50, the Bren 100 is br iv and the base weapon is br ii, the Thompson m1a1 is br2 and i know the m1928a1 isn’t the same but you can’t forget the m1a1 use to be br iii
