Sure events weren’t exactly a bad thing but I need some room to breathe from it as being forced to play everyday because of the daily once a day limit makes a simple, straightforward event into long slog.

Whats the problem? Current AAs aren’t good, AT squads weren’t good…
That’s why those events are literally optional. If you’re not able to do them all, just give yourself a break. But I don’t know why others shouldn’t be getting new events just because it’s too much for you. 
I guess you just can’t counter FOMO.

What i don’t like is the daily required commitment, if you want to try to get the event rewards.
I think it would be much more reasonable if you could do 24k over 2 days, so it really doesn’t feel like such a daily grind and you can plan some breaks in between.

Imo new year event format was goodlike, you have tot score to do for get all the reward and you can do it in a single day if you was able to do it

Yeah that was also my favourite- though i guess ot didn’t work for the devs as the format didn’t come back 
That’s why maybe a compromise like what i proposed could be a good middle ground.

Without the events many people would just stop playing till the big update comes since they have all they want for the merge unlocked.
Agree. Too many events. I spend too much time playing, my girlfriend is complaining about my daily late night gaming. Have to be careful not to get addicted

I developed this strategy for avoid long solo gaming session in the weekend, wen i not play in cop i set a timer on the PC of 1H and half wen the timer end the PC shut down
Also the 2.5k as many as you want per day ones were way better, i don’t always want to do 2 or 3 games a day to make 12k just to come back tomorrow for a month straight, sometimes i just want to smash out 18 games in one day and leave it a while
one thing would make events more attractive for me
open it up so it’s 24/7 during the time of the event, instead of limited time of the day, that way I can partake whenever I am on to play not have to shift my life around to meet a game schedule
also the event thing is hidden away I hardly ever notice if it’s active or closed, so I just don’t bother with it, I rarely look there because everytime I check it’s off and can’t partake
Yeah, that was the best one. Those “do this nonsense everyday” events are pretty frustrating.
And they even don’t get automatically accepted, so you can grind it out, forget to click on it and loose the progress anyway, so dumb.
Thing is you dont have to do them.
I for one love that there is nearly always something additional to go for.
Nice to be so active and with stuff that is really cool, bot not required (like aa). Loved that i could get flakpanzer. Not necessarily very useful but i really enjoy going for a spin
