As much as I hated WPs in their prime, they def are too weak these days.

I feel the same way but if we are being honest, removing them from the game would be a better solution than what we have today. Give players credit to replace with another valid grenade type OR silver and move on with life.
I’d be happy with that for WP and impact.
They’re both pretty cancerous (when functional).
Ideally, we’d control the number of each that can be carried by a squad but if dev resources make that too tough then just remove them as a surgeon would.
Personally I think this would be the best direction. If soldiers can only hold 1 of each grenade type, and grenade bags were made to get grenade variety instead of just increasing overall grenade slots (except smokes - no limit).
Then they could move towards making grenades stronger and more unique without worrying about players being able to throw up to 27 of one grenade per squad.
