This must be reduced 'BIG TIME'

With the recent announcement regarding the silver economy changes it seems like one major aspect of the game has been pushed under the rug. I am talking about the cost of resetting perk points on your soldier. It is on average 5,000 silver for each soldier in-game. This is ridiculous to say the least. I would like to propose two things in this regard:
Firstly, do away with this non-sensical mechanic. The entire point of this re-worked perk system is to allow us to experiment with different perk setups in-game. How can that possibly happen under this prohibitive regime?
Secondly, if you wish to keep this bogus system in-place you should reduce the price of re-setting perk points by a lot. Say from 5,000 to 1,000 to 1,500 silver at the very least.
It seems like if you would reset the stars on my soldier so as to change his/her perks that would work nicely. Since I can gain experience with my soldier more quickly than going bankrupt while trying to reset them.

I actually agree with this one. Sometimes when selecting perks you shuffle the points around a bit before landing on a final setup

I would agree with you on the soldier cost, if it weren’t for the fact you get roughly 90% back when you send soldiers to the rear

You mean you didnt like getting the Rocket Artillery squad from the event and having to pay like 2K silver to change all the perks?

I am not talking about the soldier cost. I am talking about the cost of re-setting perks on a soldier.

I am not talking about the rocket artillery squad. I am talking about soldiers within a normal tech tree squad.

I’m with you on the perk change cost

Yeah perks play a HUGE role in the game. If you properly use these to the your advantage, especially use them based off of your style of play, (I.e. aggressive, defensive, engineer focused, tank/plane focused) it can make all the difference. The vitality perk gives you a massive advantage. The tank loader and gunner perks can give you a huge advantage as well. Some perks aren’t as powerful as others but once you figure what suits you best, you should, in theory, play at a higher level than before. So yes definitely play around with them and use ones that fit your style. I totally agree with this post as it costs WAY TOO much to reset even one soldier, let alone a whole squad (especially for f2p players).

Yep. Like the changing pose perk coupled with the reduced shot spread after quick turning is a must have for the AI.
