im convinced half the players are AI and arent even actually people, to hide the low player count.
Some matches a lot higher than that! A good indicator is name badges that is the only thing not an AI player.
im not refering to the squads i mean the actual players they may have tags but they are AI generated and played by. theres no way people are this bad at the game by the time you reach br 3 to 4
this is what happens when you leave the things to easy to americans and soviets
they playerbase lacks of any compentence and as i mentioned hundreds of times they need their opponents with actual working brain handicaped to actually have a minimal chance of winning
i suggest you switching to japan since their playerbase specially on br 4-5 is one of the best i could have ever seen you could learn how to work as a team actually instead of carring every game

ever since they changed the way the game plays this has gotten worse, i feel like fighting japan the US team has a 50/50 win loss ratio but germans its pretty consistent they win, its sad the playerbase cannot be this bad theres no way, and if it is so they need to do skill based match making so we dont end up carrying a team. the main issue is why should a player be punished for leaving early if their team is consistently not cooperating or trying, just getting the players to use the spotting system is a chore. we should be able to leave as many battles as we want until we get a good one.
I believe that the punishment system that was implemented is completely unfair, since they could only penalize a player for abandoning a match if the player could choose the map and the game mode, in which case the penalty for abandoning would be acceptable, since the player chose all the criteria of the match, even though a system was implemented that theoretically would allow you to favorite the map and the game mode, in reality it is nothing more than a big farce

You can get rid of deserter penalty by going into unmodded custom match and leaving

why have I seen multiple people say this? It does not work at all when I tried it?
players now: the game is so unbalanced, I lost to faction X three times in a row today!
Me in 2023 jumping around like a monkey from the joy when I won a single match in Tunisia as Axis in a whole day (20-25 matches).

Last time i checked it worked. I never desert so the devs might have changed something recently or you are doing something wrong.
Friendly reminder that the penalty is so lenient that leaving a losing match to get 2 winning ones gets you the same amount of EXP either way
