In fact, this German unit was primarily skilled in defensive warfare, but ultimately couldn’t escape total annihilation. Therefore, the Soviet army gave it a nickname out of respect. Does anyone know what it was? :太阳镜:
The Soviet troops who fought against this German 206th Infantry Division on the Eastern Front gave it a unique nickname: Туз пик(Ace of Spades Division).
Yes, this returning historical squad might be a bit pricey, but its commemorative significance is truly unique. Along with the MP18 squad from the Normandy campaign and the Lebel 1886 squad from the Battle of Berlin, they represent experienced veteran squads in Enlisted’s historical campaign mode. If you love Enlisted and your budget allows, consider acquiring this veteran squad from the Eastern Front, skilled in defensive battles but ultimately wiped out due to their loyalty to duty. Its historical collectible value outweighs its practical use. [Of course, for new players to Enlisted, this Eastern Front veteran squad might not be enough for unlocking new content.]
The standard German engineer squad (I have three available: the 36th Engineer Battalion, 152nd Engineer Battalion, and 52nd Mixed Engineer Battalion) consists of six soldiers, whereas this one only has five.
With the standard squads, you can still customize primary weapons (bolt and semi-auto rifles) and use them across all tiers. Additionally, aside from the 52nd Mixed Engineer Battalion, the other two squads have access to a full set of deployable structures: anti-tank, anti-air, and machine gun nests.
Each standard squad allows for two specialist roles. The most effective combination is typically an anti-tank specialist paired with a radio operator. Here you can have only an Anti-tank soldier.
That said, the “Ace of Spades” squad falls more into the “collectible” category. I do own it and have fully leveled up the soldiers, but the squad itself is relatively weak in comparison.
EDIT:
However, if you’re a new player - especially to the German faction - it might be worth considering a BR I premium engineer squad, as it can help you a lot in progressing more quickly.
I thought this was part of the newbie starter pack four-piece set anyway? Or was it on sale? Might as well wait for the translation.
It was - that’s how I got it. Now it’s on the market, but not for sale
And honestly, it’s quite expensive for what it offers. ![]()
I think this is because DF has no real marketing sense. The stuff they keep re-releasing is so overpriced. In the real world, anyone could tell they don’t know how to run a business—they’re just living off their existing player base.
i did buy them when their Uniform was unique… long ago…
Indeed, for veteran players, the Ace of Spades squad represents a historical collectible. The overcoats of the 206th Infantry Division’s engineer battalion during the Battle of Moscow were light green, unlike the dark green overcoats of ordinary squads today. This is one of the reasons why they differ from other squads.
Stop complaining. I hope you’ll buy a few squads next month during the Victory Day sale as support for Enlisted’s continued development. This time, the returning squads are only available to collectors, as the 205th Infantry Division’s flamethrower squad and the 206th Infantry Division’s engineer squad are linked in the Eastern Front defense. If you’re short on funds, you don’t have to spend money, but next time I hope you’ll spend first, then complain. This game isn’t something that can be improved just by complaining; after all, Enlisted also needs funding.
Ahem, of course I bought them. I got the Chauchat early on. The Pz. IV Command tank is pretty good too, so I bought that as well. The Soviet Lewis gun, the M3—I own all of them.
I’ve spent at least 20,000 RMB on this game, you know? I’ve invested way too much. I complain and criticize because I love it, because it’s making mistakes!
You’re Chinese too, you know how serious it is when a business treats its customers badly. Especially DF. We players who spend money and keep the game running are the company’s bread and butter! How are they treating their “parents” now? It’s unfilial!
All this talking back and forth is just “scolding is a sign of affection, nagging is a sign of love”. You get it? I don’t want Gaijin to keep shooting themselves in the foot, killing themselves off by launching new games one after another. If Gaijin dies, what am I supposed to play?
Gaijin’s main focus has been on War Thunder, leaving Enlisted as a neglected “orphan.” Don’t complain about how bad it is now; look at its performance from 2021 to 2023, and you’ll understand it’s the real star game. Unfortunately, it’s currently buried in the shadows. All we can do is continue to fund it, as it’s not fully developed and is still in a semi-finished stage. Therefore, if War Thunder starts to decline, Enlisted might have its day of revival.
