This game makes me sad sometimes

I don’t know why the devs don’t have any faith in their products, to the point they have to rely on whales for all of their money and force ads and ads and ads just to get a few more whales instead of an active healthy playerbase. Would any of you making this game pay $50 for a squad or a tank or a plane? No, why make us? And this isn’t even mentioning that many of us have already paid more than full price for a triple A game because we enjoy it and don’t even get all of it’s features and content, it makes me sick, you could’ve had the most wonderful shooter, one that revamped the industry and showed that a free to play with just a premium subscription could make tons of money, but no, katyushas are premium even though hundreds of thousands were made. Camo is premium, not locked behind skill or anything fun, just money! We love your game and you, but you hate us and spit on us for not wanting to spend thousands on your game.

Actually, the “old ways” of marketing was to release a finished product game without bugs, microtransactions, etc. and just rely on a happy playerbase to promote the game and make more sales.

They need to go BACK to the “old ways”.

uhmmm, is that so, then I would agree If I didnt had to pay 60 dollars for each premium

the problem is manty fold one the triangle developer - publisher - gamer, simply put one of these groups is getting the short end of the stick, before it was the developer who worked insane hours with zero credit
second feature complete game is not a live service gem, so no paratroopers, rocket or flame tanks, we wouldn’t have half the campaigns, and did you all forget sequels that felt more like chapters the full box sequels paying 60 dollars over and over again for a game with a few updates

There are payment models that are fair and also allow the publishers and developers to put a lot into the game, like runescape, this is an MMO as well at this point. And no one’s forgotten these things, they get criticized just as heavily and suck. I don’t buy them.

I have talked about the wierd monetisation decisions before. Not just katyushas.
Most common things in the war = monetised
Rarest things= not monetised

I don’t know why people complain about all the prototype stuff personally, I think it’s really fun, and it’s not entirely nuts, the US made millions of thompsons at a ridiculously inflated price, could’ve gone for anything else given the need. But like if you’re going to have the largest backlog of ww2 equipment it makes no sense to paywall more than half of it  Giving only certain patterns to premium and not.
