I’ve played since launch and can confidently say that game has gotten significantly worse since then. The AI got worse every single time the devs tried to improve it somehow, you soldier will get stuck and just sit there for like 3 seconds when climbing most ledges, weapons don’t ever get balanced but the ones that do get nerfed into the ground to the point of uselessness with the grenade launcher being a prime example. In general, the devs just don’t work on the pre-existing issues and instead push out all the new content which brings even more issues and dividing the playerbase furthermore with more campaigns. I try to make myself at least play for the events but even that is difficult to do. Unless the devs make a total U-turn, there is no shot of this game reviving itself. This is my rant after the most infuriating 30 minutes of my life
Your post is so salty I could float on it.
Now I said it, you are right about the AI behaviour, and the bugs that need to fixed.
For the rest I don’t think it’s that much relevant.
Who care about grenade launcher? The golden order is just a meme weapon, the bolt action grenade launcher has been up. It a bad exemple.
Anyway, I like the balance of the gun. (I can compare as I have max both Ally and Axes in Berlin and Normandy and I’m doing the same in Tunisia right now). For the tanks balance it can be a little frustrating but only because a new player can not deal with heavy tanks, so you have to do it yourself (bomb, det pack, RPG…). But you got all the tools to kill even the biggest tank.
And for the campaign, I think we don’t need Stalingrad. It would have been better to add Pacific. However the spread of the player could be a problem, but I haven’t check the number of bot in my game recently. The devs got way better intel on this than us.
Content such as map, gun, tanks etc… are always welcome.
The main issue for me are the AI and the campaign level system.
Enlisted is a strong game. And I believe Darkflow for producing good game a lot more than Bethesda, EA, or Activision Blizzard.
