Hi there, new player, i’ve played something along the line of 2 days? 3 days maybe? so yeah don’t care much 'bout the time what is important is the… tips i think the creator of these game should read.
This squad mate bot are an absolute shite. I don’t wanna hear anyone saying otherwise, it’s bollock, when i’m at one spot, these dic… head just stay at one other place and no amount of ‘’ STAY TOGETHER ‘’ make them freaking come toward me.
They wonder around like it’s a freaking gamescon doing nothing but dying, then i’m stuck in one place and i can’t change my character because everyone is freaking dead.
We NEED more ORDER for these BOTS! Stay in place, STOP SHOOTING! Hide! Fire at will at THIS position. and furthermore ‘’ SHUT UP ‘’ because i’m sick of hearing ‘’ YA YA YA VOL ‘’ and ‘’ KENOUIL ‘’ screamed in my ear every 5 god damn minute. Also i’ve never been once healed by one of those bots. smh.
There are tons of bugs, i once went through a sand bag and was stuck inside it, i was also stuck under a house… in the foundation.
Oh also i remember, tank battle are an absolute shite show. i think that shooting with a PZIVH on the side turret of a T34-85 Does more than fucking putting yellow on ammunition… a shell… EXPLODE. Yes, crazy i know!
so that’s my take, read it, don’t read it, make your opinion, don’t make one, don’t care, just hope that whoever making this game see what the player are telling them, because at this point this game is just Heroes & General v2 tbh.
if this game need to work, player need to come, and stay. and i don’t talk about paying, because people who pay for a Free game are dumb. but that’s out of the point.
Yeah, they still need a lot of work, however, they improve with rank, and player also needs to learn a bit about how they work to utilize orders we currently have. What I´m talking about is using orders that are in game already such as build/destroy, enter vehicle, cap, mark position AI will pay more attention to and fire, heal (tricky one… they do heal but not in every situation, you need to order them to do so and they need to have medpack equiped).
I agree, here tho, it is annoying.
AND WE NEED LESS CAPS. Seriously, more orders and options for squads are planned according to devs.
This statement is pure bullshit (excuse my wording). Devs need to generate income, and so monetization must be in place in F2P titles in order to survive… I don´t understand why you think that paying in F2P is dumb.
F2P means, that game is easily accessible, but If you can´t pay in money and support development, you have to pay with your time through grind.
A lot of your points are valid, though the more you play, the more you will understand that they are not so bad and you can play around them. Bots and vehicles are two areas of focus for the devs and their improvement is a high priority.
The bots are less there to play the game for you and more to act as support, holding a building when you want to leave or acting as additional lives when your soldier dies. They should not be treated like human players
There is, in addition a Lone Soldiers mode for pure human-on-human gameplay. It’s a bit more hardcore with less HUD elements and team damage, but give it a go.
