So, once again, should we blame the game for problems that players could easily avoid self-inflicting just by using more than one neuron at once?
Fact.
using the neuron is not in vogue today, so who do I have to blame, the idiotic gamers or developers who take advantage of it, you two tell me @Serpiko82 @38733216
While grinding Normandy, I stockpiled most of my bronze and silver until I unlocked the levels whose guns would grant me a noticeable upgrade.
The former.
Game companies sure aren’t charity foundations, and try to reap wherever they can, but if a player falls into troubles he could easily avoid with a little care, it’s his own fault.
subject ???
I do not see how the developers are taking advantage, no need to get every gun when you unlock it. So I would blame the player for not trying out the weapons first and planning their progression.
i agree but wy there is no way to separate us from them? (who doesn’t use their brains) how can you play if with each campaign update the balance shifts from one faction to another until the next campaign update, or worse now a lot of new players are thrown into the game and damage one faction in favor of the other, can’t we have a matchmaking to solve this? is it too much to ask? having almost finished the Americans by winning only 17 battles from lv 15 to 29 I can say with certainty that it really pisses off all of this.
Never said that we can’t have a matchmaking kind of system. Though the challenge would be to how we determine where somebody belongs? Gear? Total average performance? Performance in the last 5 battles? Protected matchmaking till one of the campaigns reach a certain level? I honestly would not know.
I’d say, adapt and exploit the situation to your advantage.
I started Tunisia by grinding Axis (for patriotic reasons). But after painfully reaching lvl 14, I’ve thrown the towel and switched to Allies instead. Now I’m flying through levels like a breeze, will soon catch up and keep sailing on the Allied wind of victory till it lasts. No point in stubbornly playing a faction you can’t enjoy for any reason.
everything would be fine compared to now everything
i am the type of player who professes goals and decides to complete them at any cost, plus i make a lineup for everything, i can say i don’t have fun and that it’s hell to play allies in normandy plus being on the side of the axis i am just waiting to finish and swicht faction, but the fact remains that i want to enjoy all the game including americans in normandy and i should be able to do it when i want not when faction gets strong again, you are right in saying that playing and not having fun doesn’t have sense but it is also true that playing and already knowing to win at a table makes even less sense
Nonetheless it can be a pleasant change of pace after an endless losing streak.
obviously nothing against, even in a few days I will slaughter the American players together with the other German players, but a game cannot be based on such periods where one faction becomes food and the other a predator, you will agree that a balance is needed, otherwise it is no longer fun
My advice is whoever is low level/not maxed out with Germans in Normandy now is the perfect time.
Depends on how many brain cells they have I guess.
I clocked it straight away and saved most of my weapon orders to spend all at certain thresholds so I could get as many of that weapon as possible. I must have burnt 50+ orders as soon as I hit that Garand level as I realized that is probably USA’s strongest general purpose weapon in the whole game right now.
It doesn’t take a genius to figure this out either. Why waste bronze on a marginally better weapon when you can save up a bunch and get a significant amount of much better weapons that will last you the whole game.
Agreed + one of the reasons you probably have a fair amount of high leveled players in Normandy Axis at the moment is they are probably maxing out certain squads and getting their rank 5 soldiers sorted out with the right perks before the academy changes.
For instance my main priority at the moment is maxing out my Assaulter 3s which if I’m not mistaken can run a nasty perk combo of 20% weapon aim speed +75%, revive 35% extra health, -40% V recoil and 12% reload speed which is amazing if you think about it.
I was leveling my Panther up as well. Both those squads need a lot of XP.
The US have M10 which I hate and another Thompson that’s barely an upgrade so are a non priority for me.
Yeah, I’ve done Germans in Normandy fully now. All fully equipped and maxed out most of them. However will wait for that academy and logistic change to max out the rest of them. I am not willing to spend silver tickets anymore. Even though Panther A is so fun to play as much as Jumbo on US side I avoid to use it as I find both of those tanks kinda unfair towards new players (especially now) unless someone is asking for it so I bring those bad boys. I just like my assaulter III squad with 6* STGs lol
Yeah I maxed out Panther squad upgrades and then barely used it simply because I’m maxed campaign level and I’m trying to get other squads finished.
If you have the time I’d try and get all your current usable Rank 5 Soldiers to have the correct perks before the academy update as they said they are going to remove re roll points and I bet that will make it more grindy to get correct perks.
I look forward to the day I can just run my actual preferred squad line up rather than training sniper IIs or Fighter pilot squads for instance.
