There should be two main modes of play

There should be two distinct game modes in the game.

The first is the current one, i.e. arcade. Dynamic gameplay reminiscent of a mix of CoD with BF covered in sauce from bot teams to increase the mass of battles as well as from the very idea of the game. Because what would Enlisted be without bots.

The second is the (not ultra-realistic) hardcore mode. That is, the interface and interface mechanics as in the arcade game, but.
With no standardization of weapons. Damage should be dictated by the caliber, not the type of weapon. Exactly as you think, at a distance of up to 10m, pistol ammo should be the most effective. Shorter TtK. 10 deployments per player regardless of the mode, because when the limit is exhausted, the next one enters the place of the excluded (only in the confrontation, the limit of 10 deployments without the possibility of replacing the rejected player with a new one. Confrontation is an encounter battle, and encounter battles were fought by reconnaissance companies or battalions).
The soldier’s mobility is drastically limited by the weight of the equipment (regardless of whether the soldier has a matchlock and a mine on his back, or a matchlock in his hands, and the rifle on his back moves the same elephantine).
In addition, a number of other hardcore mechanics that would not be possible in arcade mode, such as the ability to airborne only at the beginning of the game, later paratroopers would have to deploy like any other unit from a spawn point or rallypoint.
And of course, the icing on the cake - friendly fire from all explosive and fire toys.
And more deadly bots.

Would you like the game to be divided into arcade and hardcore (more realistic) modes?

not going to have this whole discussion again.

tl;dr: not enough players for 2 modes/MM.

This has been and still is the unofficial and official answer regarding this.

Everytime.

Quite funny, not enough, player base is split, but what happens in new merger, is still going to be split, due to that BR

simply enough it will be flexible. in worst case scenario you will have less MM queues than current static campaign MM queues and in best case you will have more queues than now. overall it will balance players across campaigns and you will play against humans more in peak and off peak hours.

and also it is easier to add new “campaigns” without affecting MM like it is affecting it now.

How is it more “realistic” with the same interface, green penetration value on targeting tanks? Lead pip on AAs and planes? Medkits potentially patching up wounds from a 20mm with a bandaid? And my favorite - pistol ammo more effective at up to 10m than say Type 97?

I didn’t know they had pistols chambered in .50 bmg back in WW2.

realism, like HA is subjective depending on the player.

Historical accuracy is not subjective.

Whether you want more or less of it (or will tolerate more or less) is what is subjective.

U dont see he just want to OS everything with his PPSH41 he thinks its not OP enough

Not now with 12 sides player can queue on.

After rework there will be 4, and not resticted as much, americans could be fighting against any enemy so it’s easier to make full matches.

If it won’t be possible after rework it’s because game will be on life support from non-existing playerbase

you dont understand MM. you dont look at MM by number of sides, but by actual MM queue. 1 MM queue matches 2 sides so overall now you have 6 queues for 6 campaigns and in new MM after rework you will have minimum 3 queues in off peak hours in middle of night (just japan vs usa, germany vs usa, germany vs soviets with no BR limitation) and over 20-30 MM queues in peak hours (sides like before just with extreme BR and HA limitations).

adding 2 modes would cut peak hours and would force overall shittier MM for rest of the players.

proceeds to not understand MM even more.

i said it’s 12 queues because most players don’t have play any side selected, that’s why half campaigns are one sided PvE 10 players vs bots

i don’t think you know what queue means

we don’t even know shit about br, it’s propably still gonna throw noobs into vs veterans slaughters.
why just throw those bullshit number around

I’d also add jams (they were present in CBT but only on bolt action rifles) and some kind of spawn resource to counterweight “OP” weapons.

And sub queues depending on number of BRs.
Its also not even because Germans needs to satisfy at least two playerbases, three if UK becomes a single faction.
