Why? Penalicing players because a game crashes, loses connection, goes AFK for whatever reason and gets kicked, game randomly closes. This is isn’t a tournament to penalize players. Otherwise make the research and upgrades cost half the points. You are not hurting veteran players who have no life and are always quitting, you are only hurting the new players and middle ground players who have a life and do enjoy the game but have to try really hard to farm points just to be cut off because of a stupid point system

Omg guys, fix your damn internet first, nothing has ever broken, disconnected or crashed on my wired ethernet in my life (maybe I’m exaggerating a bit), but for how long you still gonna blame the servers?

if youre gonna quit the game because of a -20% then maybe enlisted isn’t for you. have you tried Roblox I heard they got good ww2 games. No one likes looking at a defeat pop up on their screen and seeing a bunch of people had left the match mid way and never joined back and if you have stuff going on why start a match in a ww2 PvP game where the main objective is to win to receive exp. Granted the matches aren’t always 100% fair but a -20% isn’t gonna stop you from researching a tier 2 gun. Also staying in the lower tiers are 1000% more fun than high tier gameplay

It’s good that a player gets kicked after a certain period of inactivity. Better to have a bot that builds rally points and tries to get kills than a real player on the team who just hangs around afk all the time in the back. Btw if you regularly experience connection issues, crashes, etc., it’s not every time the fault of Enlisted. If so, it would affect all players all the time, but that’s not the case. I very rarely experience connection issues, and even more rarely, crashes.
Research points and silver cost have been extremely reduced in the recent past.
Maybe players should learn how to play a game with so easy game mechanics like Enlisted! It’s sad to see a squad of four new players camping in the own attacking team writing “let the enemies come” (because all 4 are to stupid to read what “capture the point” means) and one of the specialists tries to snipe with a Thompson submachine gun from the grey zone, blaming the game why he’s not hitting anything + getting no kills!
If a player doesn’t perform well in the game, he only get little amount of silver / XP - totally deserved. So get better, marker enemies, use APC’s, build rallypoints and all other stuff. When I started in 2021, I only had a few hours on weekends, with significantly higher XP and Silver requirements / costs. Additionally, there were no extra silver for battle achievements.
So be happy that you have much better conditions and stop wanting almost everything for free

I have played Enlisted for several years and I do not remember the game ever crashing. Enlisted is a very stable game.
If you are playing the game then play the game.
Just because Enlisted is free to play does not mean you have some right to disrupt the matches for everyone else who wants to actually play the game by deserting, and screwing up the match making.
Veteran players are not quitting matches they are playing matches to the end because they like the game. Its really not a difficult game.
Progression in the game has become very easy, you can complete all the tech trees in only a few months of playing.
The desertion penalties were sorely needed, as people deserting screwed up the matches.
I went through a time where the game hard-locked my rig almost everytime I played. Turned out it was my GFX card that was faulty. I had a few other times that I’d get connection issues, turned out it was my Internet connection.
It isn’t the game. It’s your rig/connection.
If it was so widespread then everyone would be complaining about it, but that’s just not the case.
If you get disconnected you can usually reconnect within a certain timeframe.

700+h and my only disconnect was when my internet gave out as a whole… it happened twice
The game crashes from time to time (most notoriously when you focus and unfocus out of it) but it doesn’t happen often enough to justify being this outraged, especially with the penalty so lenient it’s still more profitable to leave lost matches to get a winning one

It’s sad, I know, but at this point in the game, I’m not bothered by losing anymore. I always do my part and finish first.
it depends on software+hardware. some combinations of different hardware, OS, drivers and some other background programs can be extremely unstable. not to mention when you have faulty hardware.
also if people have unstable connection, then they should complain to ISP for their ISP to fix it.

That’s why I play most time in a squad. 
As a good player you can compensate worse players, but not 4 of them at the same time
