5 players, and the worst 5 the game could find.
BR5 is deader than a cemetery
Each faction has its own problematic BR. For the USSR, it’s actually 5 BR, because Soviet mains prefer to beat newcomers at 2-3 BR.
For the Germans and Japanese, on the other hand, it’s 2-3 BR.

50 sec usa xD
I just left them all, it took me over a minute to find nothing but bots… he’s definitely dead.
The worst BR to play has to be BR1.
You’ve just started the game, Got your first 3-4 man squads, medic, rifleman and sniper. You have no clue on how mechanics work, the maps, the enimies.
And then you run into some vet playing br2 that has his fun clubbing seals. He throw in his 5 man assaulter squads or guerillas armed with pps-42 or lanchesters, anti-personel mines, explosive packs, sacks that gives him almost infinite ammo and everything money can buy.
You quit…
Imho the worst BR is axis BR4.
The rest? Not worth mentioning.
There are some sweet premiums.
When you face good skilled enemy BR5 teams you are hopelessly outgunned.
I stick at BR2-3 because the gap is way lower when uptiered. And there are way more interesting weapons.
Honestly, that’s the fun part of playing BR1: hunting down those fake ‘veterans’. Usually, the guys doing that are actually terrible at the game—in higher BRs they get wrecked and can’t accomplish anything, so they come here to feel good.
I think German BR3 weaponry is even worse. Engineer weapons are terrible—low damage, and so much recoil that you literally lose sight of the target. Soviets have the same issue. Personally, I’ve never played BR4 because none of the weapons caught my interest xD but yeah, I agree with you that BR4 is pretty absurd across all factions, except maybe for the US.
I agree. It’s great to give them some proper resistance.
But the sad part is that they make potential new players quit because nobody wants to play a game where you’re shot again and again and again.
Last BR1 battle I played allied team had 3 or 4 BR2 who dominated the battle with M1 carabines, Lee-Enfield No 4’s, Ross Mk 3’s, M1A1 Thompson’s. They got between 80 and 130 kills each. Good for them.
Japan had 8 deserters. Potential new players (?) that didn’t find it fun to watch their whole squad get whiped before they could rearm their Arisaka 38’s between shots.
BR1 should be BR1 only
.
There’s no reason why not, and every reason to do it.
Further, beginners should be only against other beginners (judged by some cutoff on the research tree, such as finishing tier 1, so at least they’re not up against other players with extra grenade/ammo pouch and they’ve definitely played at least a few dozen games).
