AVT and ABC have more damage, and soldiers have a cuirass that reduces damage by 10%. In addition, AVT and ABC have the fastest tactical magazine reload of 1.6 seconds
I mean…historically accurate. Lol
I think I know.
By using an analogy: the Tunisia anomaly. Place was forever one sided, one way or another. Italian side had a bit inferior stuff, while Commonwealth had more potent things (drum tommy BEFORE nerf, BARa2, tough tanks from the go etc etc.)
For a long while, it was easy to dominate using allies, there wasn’t much axis population. Then one day, some veterans had enough and switched to the “weaker” side (I remember in the forums, ppl were goading each others saying “Eh I’m a Chad I play Italians with carcanos and I beat you and your BAR!”
them for a while, axis dominated. Hard. There was still allies playing, they still had great tools… but Italy players were determined.
My hypothesis: players who are used to easy and powerful tools, don’t grow skills and experience the way a player who gets used to play the underdog, do.
So it doesn’t matter if there’s dubious dev choices for Sov only body armours, magic dispersion ppsh41box that strangely isn’t fixed yet, proto ARs that are better than the other factions ones etc.
Tools don’t make the player.
At least it’s what I think. Because all factions are as enjoyable to play for me.
Well yes, but in what time? If you will die in a few hours because of an injury you still have plenty of time to continue to fight. Soldiers will have a ton of adrenalin pumping which is one hell of a drug or not uncommon actual drugs during WW2. Any wound that does not kill in the next 5 minutes does not matter in the scope of the match timer.
There are plenty of stories of people recieving multiple gunshot wounds during police involved shootings and not stopping. So people not immidieatly dieing isnt unrealistic even if uncommon.
Personally i feel stg better and i don’t care to much about stats ( i’m most of cases) i probably like the stg cuz is iconical and the sigths😜
Upper leg would be exactly that tho.
The M2 Carbine is more like a shortened assault rifle rather than a semi-automatic rifle. It was only used to fill the role because the U.S. faction didn’t have a suitable automatic rifle at the time. Therefore, you can’t directly compare it to the FG42; otherwise, you’re attempting to shift the argument.
This method of comparison is meaningless. The FG42’s high rate of fire of 800 rounds per minute can instantly eliminate an opponent in one-on-one combat, whereas the AVT’s 660 rounds per minute often doesn’t even have time to fire a second shot. In real combat, non-lethal hits like to the arm are possible, and a faster firing weapon has a much higher margin for error.
“Better”—referring to the situation during the Berlin campaign where German players could blindly slaughter Soviet bots one-sidedly. It’s truly laughable.
lol… so fg42 can fire 2 bullets faster than avt can fire one bullet… lol
Good thing you only need 1 up to 60m ![]()
Only legs and feet take less damage. Always fun shooting a hand sticking out a window

Me reading another SF rifle drama knowing I’ll never play BR5.
yea dont go to br5 it is hell for br3 newbie that choose to go there (there are a lot of them, and im kinda not surprise somehow)
I can’t imagine how you’re playing the game. The FG42-2 is practically useless now. It has the same awful, uncontrollable horizontal sway as the AVT.
I’m making fun of the argument this thread is about
