The topic of discussion of options for how to make fun of Auto rifles in the Enlisted game

As we know, for the past 2 years Enlisted has been using all automation with damage of +13.6, when other weapons in the game are simply not needed, for example, why play with a machine gun (RD-44) if you can stupidly take a squad of 9 fighters to AVT-40 by 20 and play many times more efficiently? Why take the As-44, if, again, you can take 9 fighters with avt-40-20.
Therefore, I propose solutions to this issue.:

  1. Reduce the damage for all Auto rifles (Fg-42, AVT, ABC, T-20) to 12.0 and change the damage from leveling weapons to 3 stars by 10%. The damage from Autohaye will be reduced to 10.7 damage points in reserve, and the damage increase when leveling up to 3 stars will be changed by 10%.
    (Due to the fact that automatic propellers are actually light machine guns, but in the hands of fighters, so I suggest bringing the Auto rifles damage to the level of machine guns)

This migth be the Best solution only problem is the fact that would only make SF a crappy copy paste of Smgs with less mag making it absolutly boring tbh

The ammunition for fully automatic rifles is the same as that for sniper rifles, bolt-action rifles, and machine guns. Since they all use full-power rifle ammunition, their ammunition damage should also be roughly the same.

damage reduction is the most straight forward and easiest nerf without breaking the current balance too much or adding a new mechanic, but a the same time, some new changes may be necessary.

Adding a higher fire rate gun like FG42 I or AVS-36 to Allied faction may be needed for fairness sake.
A minor recoil nerf would still be needed to help keep lower fire rate SF rifles interesting in a way since higher fire rate will become an advantage with this change because kills will require two shots instead of just one.

Dmg reduction just makes select fires all identical to assault rifles. Plus a balancing nightmare thx to things like the m2 carbine. Best method is still recoil increase just don’t make it a blanket change this time. Adjust per rifle

And this thing about not nerfing gold and premiums: it’s heavily dependent on what you mean. For squads sure that makes some sense. But for gold order weapons nerfs should absolutely still apply.

I partially agree with you. You can loosen the T-20e1 Auto-screw and the Gorov Machine Gun. Since t-20e1=t-20. Gorov machine gun = Fg-42-2

Yes, it will be difficult with the m-2 carbine, I think you can just make it a higher spread so that this weapon is only for close combat.

My main issue is it just makes select fires assault rifle clones. Which is boring.
