Omg I ran a match with fully upgraded Thompsons to see how they work and holy shit, these things are amazing! I can’t believe I’ve been running dedicated shotgun Assaulters all this time. This brings a whole new meaning to assault. Running spaded thompson with shotgun on crack head units that bounce around like a methed out humming bird is next level fun!

Close and dirty only, right in melee range!
It is low speed, but it’s not that big deal once you get used to its ballistic after a few matches.
Besides, on the plus side, it retains decent damage at distance.

Especially considering that 45acp rounds are 230gr, half ounce bullets. (15 grams)
well it is hard not to be amazing after m3 and sten… idk what gun i hate more… m3 cause of its sights, or sten cause of its horizontal recoil…

The Grease Guns’ sights arn’t that bad, especially if you are ok with the Thompson’s sights. I am rather quite fond of the Grease gun due to it’s stupid low recoil.
i dont have thompson yet, so i cant comment on its sights. m3 just has too big sight that blocks view…
M1A1 and M1 Thompson have the same issue, M1A1 is even worse in this department with the rear sight being an actual square.
I will say that the thompson sights suck. I feel like they are shown way too large than in real life when looking through them, blocking a lot of peripheral especially when firing, you’re basically blind.
Yes thompson is great for short range but the bullet drop is terrible.
