The tank mounted Crocodile Flamethrower

Since the next update is about fire, I thought this was a neat part of WWII history.

A Churchill tank fitted with a Crocodile in action. This flame-thrower could produce a jet of flame exceeding 150 yards (137 meters) in length.

I’d love to have more flamethrower vehicles

The Churchill Crocodile is a contender for being the most effective tank of the war.

how come?

Incredible success rate in recorded engagements, compared to other tanks. You were, statistically speaking, almost guaranteed a win if you brought up the Crocodiles.

Of course… The numbers are skewed, because they were deliberately grouped up and sent into engagements where they would excel… But lets not look at that factor too hard shall we…? :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

The combination of a nigh invulnerable tank, with a flamethrower that has the greatest range and volume of fire out of any WW2 flamethrower… Combined with a dedicated infantry escort on the flanks, and you got a terrifying combined-arms force that German infantry would rather surrender to than even try to fight…
