Probably no, they say uniforms will change, but I would absolutely expect Panthers and “captured” PPSh-41 to appear in Africa (because both will be lower BR than the Tiger that was there). We sacrifice that.

Medics are Assaulter Is with no second gun and backpack slots and most people treat them like this and most AI plebs die befote you even left greyzone anyway.

Fair price for populated & balanced games. Incentive to play say moscow maps is much bigger if u get to use what u want. Rather than having the rather poor balance of current moscow.
Well yes but I dont know if people are still more likely to play US afterwards if their early war gear is still the same boring shit apart from the M13.
I dont know how early and mid Axis gear will be more balanced against the T-50 and the nuke T-34 since they still suck witih tanks and planes/ more players want to play early and mid Axis (anymore). SG is pretty much mid war/ br stuff I guess and since they nerfed the Mkb, its mostly just another bot farm for Soviets.
I dont know how a Tiger 2 or Panzer IIs vs. T-26 will make Moscow bigger.
Ultimately, I dont know if the merger is good or bad (especially since rn the devs have no real clue in how to make it apparently) but if they don’t change the stats and fix the vehicle system as well, I doubt it will make things more balanced or so.
Not sure how the BR system will eventually work, but I guess stuff from normandy such as pz4 H will have around same BR as t-50 / T-34 being more capable counter to both of them than F2.

So id say both low-mid games will be more balanced as higher BR stuff wont be around in them as well as the capability to have weapons from different campaigns most likely will reduce the current disparity of moscow for example.
Soviets are indeed rather hard to put in BR scale due to having rather good equipment from start to finish.
But probably the pps42 will get lower BR than PPD’s / ppsh so instead of the current ppd40 vs mp40 it most likely will be pps42 vs mp38/40 which is by far more balanced.
If the BR system works as intended tiger2 wont be matched against t-26’s.
But anyway, the incentive here is that people gets to use what they want and maps are random.
For example if we kept campaigns as they are and only sent people randomly to different campaigns to populate games id say ppl would quit the games far more than compared to situation where theyr allowed to use what ever they want.
At this point it doesnt even matter for me. The current situation we have is such a massive shitshow that il happily take my chances with the merge / matchmake.
