I still hope they keep their promise about compensating the FAP owners…
Thing is you can buy gold T34 STZ, Stug for axis and transfer weapons from other campaigns. I think you probably know this though.

What promise to compensate us? I agree that was a cheeky move, won’t do that again.
I don’t think he cares about the items as much as he cares about having to grind non existent levels (as do I). It’s a ridiculous concept, even if you can still get the items without the pass.

“Golden” Stug is the only reason I bothered to grind this campaign 
Currently it is the only option to get a free stug.
(And it gets instantly outclassed by Pz IV whitch you need to unlock to use it. Devs hate stugs. Devs hate LMGs. … Devs hate things I like.)

F2P players could also get Mkb 42s in Stalingrad. They couldn’t buy them in the campaign, but they could transfer them there from Moscow. Generally, most weapons that were locked, could be transferred in from another campaign.

Spot on post, that most of us agree on.
Like you said, the only problem with it, was exclusive locked lvls that f2p players couldn’t access.
Nobody needs exclusive tools.
Going to miss this feature. Stalingrad is one of my favourite campaigns thanks to it (could only focus on fun) and of course, m93 mannlichers.
That FA pack, made the campaign remind me of better, good old times, when fps games didn’t have bad things like battle passes, infinite grind, fomo content etc. and was only aiming at pure, simple fun.

Since your a Stug enjoyer (I as well enjoy it but just started using it for the first time in Stalingrad) I have to ask a question, is the only difference between the Stug III F and Stug III G the armor? I know they have different armament but the difference is somewhat minuscule in that department.
I don’t have any other stug sadly.
So all I can tell won’t be any better than what you can see by yourself in stats.

So true! The locked levels that they added in with the pack were completely unnecessary, considering all the other things that the pack included. It really soured a lot of people on what was otherwise a great idea.
That’s why I hope if they give us another all access pass, they will leave all the campaign levels open for f2p players to unlock like normal. I’d still pay full price just for the other benefits.

I forgot about the letters, but:
If you compare the premium one from Normandy (a real beauty it is) and the one from Stalingrad, the one in Normandy behaved like a “jumbo without mg and turret” in Normandy. It’s armour was extremely good, hard to pen frontally. The Stalingrad one, while sexy too, doesn’t have good armour at all (vs t34 and KV at the very least)
Might have changed after the patch that made shells and armour behave more realistically, didn’t go in Normandy in a while.

In fact every weapon can be transferred.
And their first proposal locked brand new weapons like captured PPSh. But before the release of Stalingrad they changed this.
So you can literally obtain every single weapon in Stalingrad as a F2P if you transfer.
But that’s not really the point.
The point is, which I truly like, is to give players an opportunity to speed up grind.
However that’s a smart business model or not, are questionable. Since it would made BP/premium semi-obsolete.

Note that the G the front armor as,… a rear armor inside behind the driver… very usefull to absorve damage:
in resume:
A - amazing heat round like pz4 with heat on moscow.
F - meh
G - best of current stugs . 80mm of armor in comparison to 50 ex on F. a litle longer barrel for that velocity(l40 on F vs l48 on G)
best of the best : Panzer70V . plays like a stug, best armor and sloped, amazing MG, and amazing cannon.
the F is very similar to Jagdpanzer IV (event tank on berlin)
G is very similar to panzer 70A but without a death horizontal front armor.

I they they could synergize them all together. The battle pass still gives a lot of silver and bronze cards, plus a few gold and a bunch of upgrades and cosmetics. Those are good for everyone regardless of grind. Premium still gives you a few squad slots and further increases the XP bonus.
Plus there’s always premium squads for them to make extra money from. I don’t see those disappearing in the future.
They told us they would maintain some things when the merge comes, still hoping they won’t lie to us.
Definitely bummed I missed the opportunity to get this beauty, but I’m glad I could make my Stug look close enough to it. Hopefully, in the future, they come out with more Event Vehicles with some unique customization like the Jagdpanzer IV.
