Look at how the Soviet Union is performing in the game now. I play BR5 every day. Anyway, the Soviets have abandoned tanks and rely on infantry for everything.
Not to mention the next version facing Japan, where the IS-2 will be easily penetrated by Japanese tank destroyers. Even the US can’t beat Japan in this game, let alone the Soviet Union with its pile of industrial junk.

I play br5 soviets everyday and they are def the OP faction in terms of gear , I’m not sure what u want them to add without going cold war ?
I’m actually worried about Japan since they only got very weak assault rifle compared to fedorov , and type hei automatic is gonna struggle against body armor.

Except the fedorov is an assault rifle and type hei is SF , I don’t even use the fedorov anymore because the AVT-40 20 is a thing , Japan need a new SF rifle that deals the same damage as the others .
I don’t care about tanks lol I literally got everything researched but never bothered to buy most of the tanks , infantry is what win matches and Soviet infantry is OP .
Problem is their players not the weapons Japan is Even more cooked than Germany but if something i can Say is that their gear is more than capable to kill em
