I bet you did.

Gets old fast.

Yeah, just played one game to see how it is. Don’t want to be a bully as you said. Will give them a chance. I still need to get that MiG even though it’s shite lol

I actually do not run Min / Maxed squads regardless of if there are new players or vets.
I think it actually presents more of a challange in the game to have squads with weaknesses or Standard issue weapons.

The game honestly needs weapon limitations on every squad.

Today I chewed through an entire match with a double assaulter PPSH setup, racked up 80 kills, while the 2nd best player in the entire lobby was on like 15 and we were on the last point.

Honestly as a new player to this game I would not play it. I barely play it as is because it’s tiring to load up any campaign and go against full autos, even when I have them myself, it just gets old.

Maybe just anecdotal but Berlin has been fantastic today, great fights. I play allies but I have lost more than I have won but not a single blow out or steamroll.

I still have my 3 squads of PPShs in Moscow as I will never know how much I need to use all 3 squads depending on the situation as there are times I would use an MG, an AT, a sniper squad or a tank instead. If my team has mostly starter equipment or being dead weight, I don’t hold back on PPShs and happened to win some really difficult matches that way especially with Germans spamming MGs and even worse, premium MG squads.

Obviously some new players would get caught in the crossfire and get slaughtered on both sides but in my experience, I have encountered some meta players like M16/M60 spammers in Rising Storm 2 and some used scummy tactics or exploits that make the game frustrating like in War Thunder with its various broken mechanics and map design so they deserve what treatment they get for that. Also WT’s mechanics just make people fight each other even outside the game.

3x PPSh squads sure are fun but I also use MG, AT and sniper squads for some variety at times. Wasn’t necessary all the time like in Berlin where there are situations that I would use an MG or an engineer squad especially on open parts.

Did a Trio of battles in Moscow, and it was WILD. Lots of new players and you could tell by the way they were fighting. I still managed to carry 2 teams and then have a more relaxing match on the 3rd, but I think its going to be a wash for a while until people start getting their squads up and learning the maps.

Yeah, i´m a “new” person into the game and my best campaign so far is Battle for Moscow with lvl 16.

I mostly play axis, except in tunesia, cause i like the british empire forces.
I can just say…low lvl axis player get wrecked everywhere, except in Battle for Moscow, because there i buyed an T-38 premium tank, to have any chance for my team to compete against 5-Star BT-7 players, spawning the whole time, while all other people driving Panzer 2 or Panzer 3-B, which have like no penetration against russian high tier tankers.

I posted some of my nightmares into the “More Love for Axis” thread, so i will not double post it here…but yeah, i would always understand new players, who running away from the game, cause the Matchmaking System is *****************!!!

I only play axis in Berlin. I enjoy the challenge.
Running and gunning without feeling challenged gets boring.

I can tell you bc I playing Moscow (lvl 7 Russian) for me hard but not impossible if I try hard, my allies get absolutely obliterated and many quit.

It’s been great, and I don’t mean since I can dunk on the new players, but it’s just really been fun to be able to go back to basics. Instead of the norm of having both sides avoid the points and sit in the trees and dark areas and snipe at each other, the points are being played pretty evenly; for now. I’m sure it’ll change once consoles get geared out but man is it fun just to be able to play the game without having to resort to doing big brain moves to matrix my way past super snoopers.

I experienced that one month ago with my brother too, who wanted to try out the russians. That´s totally ridiculios to what i experience on the axis side. I guess matchmaking is totally broken and people have luck, when they getting into equal lobbys via matchmaking…

i’m not going to say that you are wrong… ( wait for it :upside_down_face: )

but how many times did we asked for a matchmaker?

and can you remember the last time they actually mentioned a matchmaker?

answers:
too long

and yet,
too long ago in their Q & A…

now, the problem is, i, you, and perhaps OP will be " gentle enough " to swap weapons and not use the utterly later equipment. but what does make you think the others will do the same?

a system that relies to players doesn’t always work because eventually, someone will ““break the rule””.

and even right now, i can’t know and you can’t know if even ourselves will follow that rule.

that’s what i’m talking about.

but i’m not getting my hopes up…

I have 10 slots lol So I have 2 gunner squad too and the rest of good stuff for that campaign.

If there are not enough players. Then let there be bots, are not 4 players of level 30 against 4 players of level 10.

The thing thats crazy is this this is just the beginning of disparities. The amount of soldiers older players have vs new is already vastly different thanks to the economy change but weapons will be the same way soon as well.

Well, I was thinking something like that when I started playing after the CBT.If I don’t start playing right now, it will get worse.
