I wonder if anyone has noticed that the usage rate of paratroopers in BR5 has increased significantly recently?
On the Western Front and the Pacific you can see paratroopers raining on the sky every 30 seconds on average. The direction of attack from both sides becomes blurred, and there will be fighting wherever paratroopers land, making the invasion mode look like a focking deathmatch.
I guess this is because everyone wants to test the M2 stinger and they flock to the US faction, and the strongest parts of the US faction are the air force and paratroopers.
Enough small talk, what I want to suggest is countermeasures against transport aircraft.
I propose to slightly increase the flight distance of the transport aircraft (paratroopers and supplies). To compensate, remove the time of deploy, that is, when the landing point is clicked, the squad will be spawned immediately and wait on the transport instead of on the squad menu.
AA and AA vehicles on the ground will be able to identify transport aircraft and obtain firing instructions.
Fighters without ground loadout will be tagged as air superiority fighters, and they can also participate in air defense missions against transport aircraft. Multifunctional fighters and attack aircraft remain unchanged.
Sending paratroopers into an area with tight air defense is to die. Let us also show this phenomenon in Enlisted.
It should be fighters in general, not fighters without ground loadout as it destroys the meaning of multifunctional aircraft. Attack aircraft could get a chance to blow it up so why not? (this is optional one)
multifunctional aircraft can still able to find and kill enemy player’s plane.
In my idea, only pure fighters can participate in hunting these “juicy points (from Community Manager)”, so that players no longer mindlessly choose the current meta fighter.
Well they should be able to kill transport aircraft just like busting bombers bud. You are still destroying the main point of the existence of multifunctional fighters
I did not usually i’m only one using my paratroopers or there is one friendly dude and one enemy para - three total including me which is nothing. And that’s BR5, at BR2-3 there are zero paratroopers.
Naw, I think it’s funny killing them all in the air, just wish it was more consistent cuz I swear I shoot them in the air and then only get a hitmarker.
I think an easy way to do it is to consider paras similar to a vehicle (they do spawn in a plane, right?) placing a limit to active number of them with a cooldown would limit their “spammy-ness” and should remove the “para-rolling” of objectives before defenses can physically even fall back.
It’s not that bad actually
You can kill them all easily just by raising the gun
Unless you are the only one responsible for all combat objectives
Otherwise this shouldn’t be too difficult
If your teammates are just a bunch of monkeys
I suggest you just become a deserter
I don’t think the new weapons have anything to do with paratroopers
Just because paratroopers are perfect for sneak attacks
Therefore, high-level paratroopers that can be purchased directly will be more common in high-level rooms of all camps.
Transport aircraft are quite fragile and can be easily intercepted, so there is no need to adjust them.
You can identify them when you hear a subtle explosion
All it takes is a slight attack on them for all the paratroopers to jump out of the plane and veer severely off their landing path.
Almost all aircraft have bomb stores
But this does not mean that aircraft without bombs need to be given useless functions.
like mentioned above
Transporters are very fragile and easy to spot so there is no need to continue nerfing them
in addition
Giving up ground attack weapons in exchange for the ability to automatically target transport aircraft is completely unnecessary.
This suggestion will only allow unskilled passive-aggressives to abuse an aircraft that has no ground attack capabilities.
And use the spiritual victory method to beautify this negative behavior into a professional interceptor
This is not helpful on the ground battlefield
Because it is most important to destroy high-risk ground units to create opportunities and reduce the burden for friendly forces.
Instead of allowing players with insufficient skills to occupy and rely on the assistive aim ability to ambush transport aircraft with a low occurrence rate.
