I also want to add:

It should be the same with pistols. They are not visible on soldiers once equipped. Most soldiers even have pistols holsters that remain empty even when a pistol or revolver is equipped.

Customization in general should work so that every item of equipment, weapon, and the like placed on soldier should be visible live. I look forward to the customization update in the future. I hope we will have complete freedom both in terms of uniforms and in terms of weapons or equipment.
