The reporting system is too simple

You can only report a player suspected of cheating during a live game. Unless you see the gameplay from their perspective, and see what information is presented to them whether visual or audio for them to make a corresponding action, they could truly be a good player.

The current report functionality is too simple. There are two drop down options (cheating, unsporting behavior) with an inline input prompt. The game should ask the user to input a timestamp for the suspected use of cheat as it will improve the workflow for the people who review the reported gameplays.

Suggestion:

  • Make reporting functionality for the replay
  • Have more input prompt to ask for:
    • Suspected cheat used
    • Timestamp for obvious cheat use
  • Make the input prompt bigger
  • Keep track of report frequency from a player as they might spam false report due to frustration

And make names visible in game so you know the person’s name, maybe with a key you press to temporarily display names, or when you are really close

Yeah that would be MUCH MUCH better if reports are done in replay instead. Its better to remove reporting from live play and put it in replay only. So that you can view the “cheater” point of view to see what they are actually doing.

Its very hard if you can only guess. It would be so much better with the truth in hand.
