The Re 2005 was the best of Reggiane’s designs with lessons learned from their Re 2000 series over the years. It had a respectable top speed of 640 kph (397 mph), and like other Italian fighters of the time, and incredible turn speed, on par with the Spitfires (this one is even a second faster to turn than the G.55 in game), also with a good array of guns; three 20mm cannons (200 rounds per gun) & two 12.7mm machine guns (350 rounds per gun). Additionally, the smaller armament of the G55 Sottoserie 0 (the one in game) won’t be a problem for this plane, as it has bomb racks capable of carrying heavy bombs; on the wings the racks can take 50kg, 100kg, or 160kg armor piercing bombs (but can function as a normal bomb due to having slightly more explosive filler than the 100kg bomb), and the central rack can mount either a 250kg or 500kg bomb. I think this would be an interesting and powerful plane for BR5.
