Personally, I think that both campaigns look amazing. I honestly prefer the way the weapons look now then what they looked like during the berlin campaign but that’s just me. I really like the idea of weather and day/night cycles. It would add more variety to the gameplay without having to add more maps. A cool weather detail that can be added is wind (yes, I know someone already said something about wind). But my idea was to have wind that actually affects gameplay/visuals. Maybe the grass and leaves blow towards where the wind is blowing and the whistling will come from the opposite direction (if that makes sense). One last idea I have for wind is much more “controversial” and will probably be a little too realistic is wind affecting bullet path. Maybe if the wind is strong enough and it’s a very far shot, the bullet will move with the wind and probably make you miss. These are some ideas I had since we are already on the topic of weather.

This idea is ahead of it’s time because it is very hard to implement such a minor, yet complicated detail.

What I was thinking:
Maybe wind can slow down soldiers if it blows in the opposite direction

I like it. It was used like a mechanic in a first COD MW in Cрernobyl mission. Also wind is so pretty in Witcher III

I forgot to write that Kar98 in Berlin has perfectly normal reload and not supersonic one like in Moscow

and red over tank scope made molotovs more useful

Thats very cool but its from campaign, I dont think multiplayer has it too

That’s where I got the idea from but as stated before, it’s a bit too complex for a multiplayer game with so many bullets flying around at any given time. Still a cool idea though

Thing is - berlin had an issue that others map dont have, and some players like me could seriously suffer from it. Im talking here about dark time you mentioned. Current render makes night games awful on OLED devices, interiors were solid black, so much black that you walk straigth into wall and dont even notice it, thinking you’re moving while actually you’re just banging against walls. This happens much less with “lightning” setting set to low, but middle and higher were just unplayable. Since then they have improved lightning system a little bit, but i still fear its far from good and i personally see this one single issue as a no go for me.
