Hello and before we begin, I am a habitual Flyboy, I mostly spend my time in the skies of Enlisted being a menice to all the good little boys and girls driving tanks so my opinions will be scewed towards pilot players. You have been warned.
So, I’m pretty sure everyone who flies in Enlisted know just how bad the draw distance is for spotting infantry is in Enlisted. You can spot a tank from 1000-1250 Meters (Yards?) away but you have to be within 200-300 just to spot infantry, this is normally towards the end of your dive for strafe making it difficult to accurately get bombs on target against infantry is you aren’t just blind bombing points or memorizing where spawns are. All I’m going to say is if they increase the range in which we can see the ants on the ground I’d be one happy camper.
Fuck engies and their back of the map AA. These little weasels deserve only the worst Enlisted has to offer. It wouldn’t be such a problem if Flyboys could mark them from the seats of their favorite birds when they are approaching but it seems we have not been blissed with the ability to do so. If the engies were forced to choose between AA or AT/MG when leveling the squad or, I don’t know, prevent enemy engies from building in the grey, it would be nice, preventing the little rats from hiding away in the safety of behind their spawns. It would be even better if when an emplacement fired, they’d be automatically marked for Flyboys but the mark being on a shorter timer. At the same time, I wish those little rats would get penalties for being in the grey, such as only 50% rewards (Silver, Points, and EXP) for kills and assists and anything relating to their constructs, except for Beacons because, you know, they’re very fucking important to the flow of the game.
It’s been quite some time since the Pacific theater has been playable to the masses and I for one believe it’s high time for a mechanic from those maps to join all the maps: Landing zones for planes. It’s kinda unfair to all the land based aircraft to get hit in their cooling and just have to soldier on with an engine that WILL fail in a fairly short amount of time. Why not just give them somewhere to land and repair, just like carrier aircraft.
Can us Flyboys get a warning in big, bold, red letters whenever a paratrooper plane spawns? While you’re at it, make them spawn a bit farther away so we got some time to respond to them. Kinda sucks that, unless you watch it spawn, the troopers inside get to sit comfortably in their flying taxi to the battlefield while all we can do is either just watch or fail to shoot it down.
Come on, it’s about time vehicles get their own version of loadouts. Let us choose what ammo and ordinence we bring to the field. Most tanks want to be rid of smoke shells and some planes want to be able to shoot through wood. Oh wait, wood … Yeah, I got a bone to pick with whomever did the coding for wood and wood structures. Why is it almost all wood objests don’t set off HE? some dude could be sitting in a wooden building and an HE shell could land right next to him but because it hit wood, it does nothing. Come on, if anything, being in a wooden structure should be even more dangerous to the ants that dare to shoot at tanks.
I got a bit of an issue with Match Making, more specifically, the “Join any Army” box. Oh my, I would love to use it, if only I didn’t have to have a random chance to play as the Soviets. Yes, I have no intentions to play as or fight the army powered by Vodka and the will of Stalin himself. However, I DO want a random chance to play as the Allies, Axis, and Japs and get the same bonuses, if not slightly lower bonuses as clicking the “Join any Army” box. Please grant us the ability to click that wonderous bonus box and then remove one army from that rotation.
Ok, this is a bit of a Hypocritical take, seeing how I just said I don’t want anything to do with the Soviets, but can we have a couple campaigns when the Japs fight the Soviets? Historically right before WW2, there were a number of skirmishes between the Japs and Soviets on the border of Manchuko (Manchuria) which the results of which made Japan sign a non-agression pact with the Soviets which they held up … until Papa Stalin threw out the window the moment Germany was defeated and shipped about 1.6 million troops east and began the Manchurian Offensive a month before the war ended just so he could have a seat at the negotiation table with the japs where they got the Southern half of Sakhalin Island from Japan. Would give the Soviets and Japan someone new to fight, With there being a chance for a early war and late war Campaign map selection.
All I got left to say is don’t count bailing out of landed aircraft as crashes, fix the hitbox for AT Launchers when near walls as it seems like every time I fire one near a wall or fence I blow myself up even theough I got a clear line of sight to my target, remove the wind up portion of the beyonet melee animation thus speeding up beyonets, and stop punishing me for immediately leaving the start of matches when I fet stuck playing as the soviets because I have no interest in playing them.
