1 man squads are not what this game is about. They also make your team play at a disadvantage.

Ah, I understand. I’m still not sure about this heroes odea, because I’m used to enlisted being about grunts.
Also, squads that are not equipped with this hero soldier or people who don’t own him would be much less fun to play. Depending on how OP this hero is, of course.
