The new "inconvenience"

A new “problem” has arisen in the last few days, and no, I do not mean the silver orders for troops, I mean that the progression system in enlisted, since I have already been reading to a considerable amount of users that They feel “tired” so to speak, as it is exhausting to take each faction to the maximum level in a campaign, I read both non-premium players and premium players (in which I include myself) I already competed enlisted at least in Normandy, Moscow and berlin I have everything to the maximum in both factions, but I will not deny that it was exhausting for me and that I only limited myself to going up one level per day and I ended up so tired despite having 100% additional experience, god, is that no I want to imagine those who do not even have a prize of being the worst punishment in history to level even one level, not to mention that currently there is no “match” as such since you can have your tank with 55 mm armor and now a guy with the campaign almost to the maximum with a 122mm armor tank and you don’t even tickle it and the one shot destroys you.
It’s going to be very frustrating, if you put yourself in the position of those players, and well I don’t see such a clear solution to this, the truth is, the only thing I can think of is that they either reduce the amount of experience required to go up a level or that on Wednesday or Thursday or in the best of cases on weekends, for 5 hours that there would be a small weekly event in which in all the campaigns we all obtained + 100% (of course this would also be added to the bonus that the premium players already count, making a total for them of 200% but that is to say, I see it just because they are premium players)
And well with those measures I think it would facilitate the progression in enlisted and it would no longer be so tiring and tedious.
Sorry if there are a lot of spelling mistakes or something is not fully understood, I am not English speaking and sometimes the google translator does not fully recognize the words and connectors, sorry if you have any inconvenience, thank you.

i cant say i am against having a 100% exp boost, so sure, y not?

I think burnout from grinding happens to players who are compelled to complete campaign factions.
Sometimes we lose sight of the reason we stay with a certain game, it’s fun.
I have a few campaign factions that I completed, but completion happened because I enjoyed playing those factions and not because I was “grinding”.
I am currently level 22 Berlin Axis. To unlock Level 22 in any campaign only requires half (and a little bit more) XP as it does to unlock the complete campaign faction.
I find that I enjoy playing as a level 22 player just as much as I do at higher levels.
So I guess my point is that if players are compelled to grind, they likely will become exhausted and quite possibly not have as much fun as a player that just plays for enjoyment and lets the progression happen naturally.

until ur taking ur new AT squad out for its first mission and the crew of the first t34 thats close enough to hit without too much problem aiming ditches the tank and obliterates ur whole squad in half a second bcause they are basically assaulters with a vehicle

other than that yea, id say it is

Empty tanks are easily destroyed, then it’s a small assault squad that’s easy to kill since tankers come with -2 vitality

I never got into the whole compelled grind thing either, if it gets repetitive I play something else or choose a different campaign.

My new thing has been to switch campaigns whenever battlepass tells me to.

not easy when they kill your squad before the box in the top right says its empty and you have a starter gun, while they have full auto and suprise on their side. at any rate tho, they shouldnt be able to be a smaller assault squad, but thats a topic for another thread

Huh? if a tank is that close to you, you see the crew jump out, if you only have a starter rifle, then hide while you cook a grenade and then toss it at the tankers. and what box in the top right are you talking about that tells you the tank is empty?

The real fun starts when you have engineer, radioman and machine gunner in a squad. Until then it is grind.

the one that shows the damage from a tank shell or panzerfaust

i didnt see the animation of them leaving the tank until they saw me. then it was a case of both of us shooting each other at the same time but my shot not registering

Except for Tunisia, engineers unlock at level 3 completion. It takes a grand total of 12,500 XP to unlock the engineers….2-3 battles. Radiomen and Gunners aren’t needed and personally, I rarely use either.

Yeah, it keeps things fresh. I started Normandy Axis and have 20 there, then there were many tasks for Tunisia and also events so I have Allied army at 10 there, I recently peaked into moscow and berlin. Moscow looks interesting but Berlin is really tough with stock troops as there are many late game full auto weapons that outmatch early squads too much.

if you end up on a decent team that plays the objective its not too bad

You mean that you missed….that’s on you

I didn’t have much luck yet but I sometimes grab some enemy late game weapons and it suddenly feels like switching to easy mode.

i aimed center of mass, so i think it should have at least done damage. regarding other things, i’ll admit they are probably l2p

have u picked up a fg 42? if not u aint seen nothin yet. consistent one- or two-shots everyone. feels great after the enemy team rushed the default spawn, but i see where the imbalance of it being available to everyone comes from (every soldier owned by someone who unlocked it i mean)

If nothing else, early SMGs in Berlin are solid.

While I completly agree that you should focus more on the fun part, I think it is not a good approach to tell ppl: “The game is not wrong, it is your mindset!”

If a game is successfull than because it was good. And not because the ppl were trained in the correct mindset to have fun in the game.

Stop obsessing with “the grind” and just play the game. Then when stuff unlocks, it’s a cool bonus. I’m not gonna stress over grinding and “completing” a campaign. If you’re too obsessed with completion, then surely a maxed out faction becomes boring with nothing left to unlock?

I love starting a fresh campaign with nothing fancy unlocked. Still possible to get top score with noob squads.
