cant wait for the update coming with the cromwell, not sure how its going to get on at BR III, im just happy their adding some more british armour, will go well with my churchill III, i know people moan about the 6 pndr which are all completely valid its not the best due to its lack of explosive, i am honestly suprised they didnt add the 75mm version truth be told, but then i guess it might compete with the sherman too much then, either way im pretty sure its pen is actually better than shermans M3 gun but im not so sure might have to double check that XD what do you all think of the stuff theyve announced so far?

Yeah i know bit confused why its at BR III, that 57mm wont perform too good at BRIII hopefully its mobility is just that good itll be worth it, they should of made it the 75mm varient imo still cool theyve added it! Cant wait now
Do you think theyll add some new premium vehicle squads in the new update as well?
The british 57mm guns are rather good with HE and if you use AP only the caliber doesnt really matter exept for firerate beeing faster so the gun is good.
As for the armor it is harder to say. Since the sidesare also pretty thick as far as I know you will be able to angle your hull very nicely which would make rather good for BR 2.
So I would rather wait and see how well it actually performes as it might just be just fine in BR 3.
But well judging by the fact that 80% of the allied playerbase is unable to aim with AP people will still complain regardless of how good it actually might be at BR 3.
The HE gets away with being weak because of the fire rate, but ive used the Churchill III and crusader in game extensively, and at BR II their great, but at BR III the churchill suffers big time, its the same gun, its post pen Damage is very inconsistent, the amount of times ive hit Ammo directly and its done nothing is infuriating, especially side hits toward the mid section of Panzer IVs/IIIs - this tank will struggle in a lot of situations, the churchill could at least tank some hits, this wont, this is a quick tank yes but so that doesnt mean a lot when you can get one tapped by basically any german APBC. By the time youve fired 3 to 5 shots if not more in some cases, to take each crew memeber out they only need one round from their Panzers to kill you. I still think they should of added the 75mm varient. The Long 75mm the germans get at this BR will kill the heaviest armoured tanks the Allies have at this BR allready, Ironically the Allies upgraded these tanks basically instantly as they realized the 57mm wasnt cutting it at that stage in the war.
The only thing i will say is maybe their completely overhaulling the BR system in the next update to allow it thrive more at This BR perhaps so maybe their is hope for it…
oh of course, otherwise how would they make money?
