This…When I use it with full vertical recoil perks, I hardly have to do anything but point, click and shoot and every bullet is right on target. I could almost unload a whole magazine into someones eye if I aimed it right.

The M3 Field modification SMG has the worst pinhole gun sight in the game. Once you start shooting, between the small hole and the gun smoke, you have no idea of what your shooting at. 
But the reality is that they are using the same type of ammunition. There is no such thing as the damage of this bullet being reduced. In the game, when it comes to balance, it’s about the weight issue. It can’t be said that the damage is deliberately made to be un-historical.

Alright, I think there’s a problem with the design of this thing. It gives off a malicious vibe. With a small magazine, it relies on the gun’s rate of fire and stability, but why is the reload time slower than that of the Thompson and PPS? The museum description said it had 40 rounds, but now it only has 30. I remember the process improvement was supposed to optimize the feel, but how come the rate of fire is so fast? It should be about the same as the Thompson or a bit faster. Anyway, it feels awkward to play. The low damage makes it easy to be at a disadvantage or die when encountering enemies. It’s suitable for medium range, but at close range, it wastes bullets easily. In a rush, one magazine is only enough for two people. When it’s not busy, you can only take out four people with bursts, and when there are many people close together, the damage is low and there are five fewer rounds. The total damage is less than that of the PPSh.
