You are incorrect in this completely.
As a 3 year long player who has finished every tree in the game, I can say very confidently that BRIII Soviets is among the most powerful factions you can play. The PPSh Box, despite being nerfed, is still arguably the best SMG in BRIII between the Type 100 Late, the ZK 383 and the American Thompsons. It has the best fire rate and reload.
What you are experiencing which you are calling weakness is specifically the weakness of the Soviet playerbase. I play Soviets as my main faction, and every single premium squad I have is good, at its own tier, so far. Event guns as well, such as the Thompson 100 Round for the NKVD, is also one of the strongest squads in the game.
And why do you think the damage is only 6.6? Maybe because it shoots out bullets at the speed of light? BTW, the difference between 6.9 and 6.6 at 1,240 rounds a minute is NOT MUCH, especially when every German smg shoots almost half as fast. 6.6 is still a huge advantage when your blowing out double the amount of lead of your enemy.
Alright, when I have nothing to say about the complaints other than the rate of fire, I forgot that for you guys, every bullet you fire won’t be swallowed by network latency. So for you, this 0.3 damage is basically no difference.
Oh, okay. It’s my mistake in wording. Sorry. It’s not Thompson. It’s the Chinese special SMG. Um, did you not swallow bullets when using it? What about the reloading speed? From this data, it seems to be about the same as the PPT-27. The best advantage is in the rate of fire. There’s nothing else. I still care about the fact that it only has a five-person configuration. Even the gold coin machine gun team has four machine guns.
When I was using the Sichuan SMG, I did not swallow bullets while using it at long range or close range. If you tap fire it at long range it is still very good.
Despite having a very high rate of fire, if you invest into full recoil perks there is 0 visual recoil at all. Horizontal or Vertical.
5 people with the gun is already generous in my opinion, when you consider legacy squads whos engineers or classes whom are not of the main focus lack the same gun as the main soldiers. Good example being the MG-30 squad.
I do hope that we can add 1 soldier to it though, for an extra engineer, radioman or etc. Then again, I am content with what we have been provided with.
Buck up little camper, so the Germans get a 0.3% advantage in damage, meanwhile you get a two to one advantage in rate of fire, AND…You can still get body armor and get that sweet additional 10% protection.

The Soviet clothes were directly copied and a hat of the Expeditionary Force with a different color was added. They are so uncoordinated and ugly.
