The need for a ranked matchmaker (separating tanks/planes)

I think the game needs a ranked matchmaker with at least 4 ranks to separate the players to, facing medium/heavy tanks with the first light tank is painful. This might also apply to separating different planes, but I don’t play planes so I can’t really tell.

Good in essence, but I’m against it.
What I love about this game is the sense of progression you get from unlocking new things, and encountering bigger tanks is exciting and also a big motivator to grind further (you want them too.) Your MM suggestion would remove that. Why progress at all when you know the MM will hold your frail hand and won’t put you against dangerous things?

The MM you suggest would be fair ish, but matchs would get much more boring entirely knowing you will always face the same things you have.

So no, for me.

Fully agree.

If I could stay on early levels and perform way better, why should I grind for later ones.

Absolutely.

It’s no fun when people starts playing this game, and end up facing stronger tanks or stronger equipment.

Where it gets boring and frustrating as you might not have the same chances.

Exactly. From easy mode only comes laziness and sensitiveness. I’ve seen many times in EEU at night half of russian teams quit the match just because they see MG42 and FG42 or cannot capture the first objective with 500 tickets or something, because they are too used to fight against bots. I still remebered the CBT time when germany had a win rate lower than 20% in Berlin. But still come through to get 21 5star soldiers

This removes the incentive to progress thereby removing the incentive to buy coins/premium squads to progress faster. It would not be a smart move financially by the devs.
