The most Bullshit Event

Do they even try it, before release?

I learnt pretty soon the point isn’t to win - it’s to drag the match on as long as possible.

Still have to admit I would’ve liked if there was 2 or 3 different objectives on the map.

Not the shittiest. Changing from 12k to 5k points per day is already a huge improvement for those deadbeat developers

Yeah i know, but just one map with two objectives gets boring fast. And most of the games are onesided and ending fast

I played three event matches and threw in the towel. In my case, the matches were so unstable I spent more time fighting the glitchiness and network interruptions then actually fighting the enemy. But I had seen enough to know that the event was just so boring I couldn’t force myself to put in the time.

I can’t remember the last event that was of any quality.

Only if the objectives werent those damn bridges. I know bridges were a big part of market garden historically but in real life they fought over gigantic railway bridges and not these tiny stone bridges. They should have just made the points random houses in the city and it would have been much more fun. It is impossible to capture the bridges because you are sitting in the open and getting killed by artillery because no proper cover

it’s even funny to consider the implications.

like, think of it:
if the germans wins by killing all enemy forces, nothing happens.
if the germans wins by time ( aka, not killing all the allies, but still hold both bridges ), the bridges blow up

but if the allies capture both bridges. they also blow up :joy: .

like… what?
what’s the point of this operation if the bridges blows up regardless?

shouldn’t the allies secure the bridges?
wasn’t the whole point of operation market?

don’t recall the US or UK forces tasked with blowing up bridges.
… which they would have eventually had to cross.

And i can hardly see the strategic importance of small stone bridges that can just be repaired by combat engineers or replaced with pontoon bridges. Not to mention omer has 3 bridges and you only fight for 2 of them.

ALSO THIS

:joy:

" wait, why are we fighting for these two bridges? when… we can cross the other at the far left ? "

( … perhaps map limitations. since river crossing doesn’t have two equal bridges. but still… just remove the bridge, or make a destroyed one… )

I see, so that what happens.

Lmao, I thought it is just some bug. That people randomly explodes once match is finished.

This makes much more sense.

For the most part, I think in real life they blew the bridges, not fought over them.

It tells a lot about the quality if the only positive we can come up with is that we need to play it less XD

Or maybe just make a map with big railway bridges, if i recall right we even had a map like that:

When a development team is filled with people who only know how to copy-paste and slack off, it’s already a blessing if they torment us less and throw us some rewards.

Stop dreaming. All their production resources have been shifted to AM. The fact that they can still occasionally release some crappy events on schedule already shows they haven’t completely forgotten about Enlisted.

Active Matter will be a failure and will only have served to waste time and money.

For me, the worst part of the event is the lag. Most of the time, it’s unplayable.

Also remember that Germans have AT launchers despite Allies not having any ground vehicles.

don’t be silly.

it’s clearly to shoot down airplane with it.
and just in range in too.

what?
you’re gonna use AAs for that?
everyone knows AAs are for infantry.

They can use flakpanzers for whatever reason. But you don’t get the points for destroying it.
