Pretty simple here. They are the same exact tank. There are zero stat differences between the 2 tanks. It’s just tech tree bloat that could be easily fixed by combining them together. I can see no reason why this shouldn’t be done. If you can think of any, by all means please tell me.
Just one is the British designation and one is the American designation, If one isn’t already foldered (it is just checked) then it should be but I don’t think removing is necessarily the right choice. I think or would at least hope that one one is playable by the British squad (Sherman 2) and the M4 a1 playable by the American squad (It’s not also checked). Importantly the two tanks would/should have different camo schemes available to them which is a point to consider.
Important to note that the M4a1 has American paint schemes available to it which is good but it’s playable through the 48th Royal Tank regiment (UK)???
The Sherman II is good where it is and it has British schemes available to it.
Make the Sherman M4a1 playable through either or both the 4th Tank Regiment (USA) and or 66th Armor Regiment (USA).
They’re not the “exact same” tank, they have different armor layouts and still are distinct enough to be separate, I would rather put the M4A1 as a alternative to the Sherman 2 like the two Panzer 3s with the same weapons but different armor
No, no they dont. I have no clue where you are getteing your info from but the Sherman II is just a lend lease M4A1. They a literly the exact same tank. Check your info before posting please.
Fine, since you dont like my idea what ideas do you have to prevent players having to research the same tank twice. Theres not a thing that allows you to unlock 2 things at once is there?
What’s the difference between keeping the m4a1 foldered where you don’t have to research it, and getting rid of the m4a1 so you don’t have to research it? There are definitely pros to having it foldered over getting rid of it. So it makes sense to keep it as is. Sorry bud, you’re just not going to get much traction with this one
