Now I understand that the liberator is a meme weapon but part of a meme gun should be challenging yourself to try use it, but with the liberator the bullet seems to be allergic to going straight.
For example:
It has a shot deviation of 420! That means you can easily miss a headshot at spitting distance.
The liberator is already challenging enough, making bullets dance around targets will just make it frustrating.
•half the liberators bullet dispersion to 210, that way it’s still the highest in game and not accurate by any means but at least bullets might hit their targets
is that the truth? Is even worse than the Welrod. I never thought I would experience something like this again… If this is the truth, something should really be done about it.
It would still be a meme gun if it had slightly better dispersion, besides it’s meme status is because it’s a single shot pistol that takes a long time to reload, not because it’s bullets can’t hit anything at close range.
The effective range on the liberator only was a few meter at most since it had like no barrel and no rifleling on the inside to stabilise. So the propelant might not fully burn up before leaving the “barrel” and then the bullet would not be stabilised at all and tumble in the air almost instantly.
You can see in the video I put in the suggestion that the target was only a few meters away and yet the bullet found a way to miss, I’m not asking for it to be a sniper, just that it can hit things at point blank range.
Even the distance in the video is already pushing the max range of the liberator…
It really wasnt designed to be used at any range at all.
There is a reason guns in WW2 had long and rifled barrels. The liberator had neither which meant that the bullet really would go everywhere exept where you aimed. Kinda making the entire ironsight obsolete.
This was a gun that had the intended effective range of barrel against skin. I like how terrible this thing is, perfect meme weapon. Hoping for a kolibre one day too.
