The Grind and the lack of accomplishment

Right now, the Enlisted grind is primarily the campaign to get new units, squad points, and percs for soldiers. Then you hope that you get something in the loot boxes. Not much variety to grind for and thus not much feeling of accomplishment when you get to what ever you are targeting. Compare this to War Thunder where you can grind for new vehicles…aircraft, ships, tanks, and to improve the weaponry and crews for the same. Nine nations to grind. Not to mention chasing war bonds, daily awards, etc. The thing is, in war Thunder, you can pick a target to grind for, be it ship, plane, tank, weaponry, crew improvement, the list is long. You can pick out what you want to grind for and go after it. When you get it, you feel you accomplished something and then you grind for something else you want. The problem with Enlisted at this point in time is that you have little that you can target for your grind resulting in feeling of “what did I really accomplish”. This is a promising game, but it needs more to make a player feel like he is accomplishing something. I realize the game is under development and there is more to be done. Lots more maps, different campaigns, the ability to grind for multiple objectives will certainly improve the game. But it needs something to keep players from feeling like I’m just doing the same thing over, and over, and over, and over.

Since your post is in suggestions would you like give a soultion like an example of what acomplishment would be for you? Acomplishment For me would be like every peirod of time( however long that is) the games takes all the wins and losses for that peirod of time and the winning side( each side fighting in the theater in the case of moscow german or Russian) gets a ticket which can be take to a shop with no rng and you buy a prize from a variety and the losing sjde gets a xp reward. Idk i think its a way to put a cap on the theater or maybe a special event happens when you complete the campaign anything is possible .

Non-linear unlocks;
Less casino, more direct choice;
More detailed and granular upgrades for soldiers and weapons;
A more authentic and down to earth approach to said upgrades.

In wwiionline and heroes and generals people are involved in a war, warthunder and enlisted about small batlles and grind. we need something bigger than small battles.

I gotta say in the Battle of Berlin test I liked the poresonel and eq progression it was faster and was a proper balance between Grind and Accomplishment. But not the Campaign progression it was faar too slow.

Now as I played yesterday for the first time since the BoB test I think they did a tiny bit improved the Campaign it does feel a bit faster and I see people CAN get to a plane lvel, but I agree if you wanna be a plane guy or a tank guy you should be able to progress that instead of grinding through infantry.

What I really don’t like is how slow the logistics work, they separated logistics into general and campaign lvl stuff and thet is nice cause you have a choice now. But those logistic cards are so painfully slow to get. Considering the scrap mechanics It just feels like a grind.

One could grind for particular weapons instead of hoping u get one in a loot box as an example. I suggested binoculars for tank commanders and radio men, another target to grind for. It is a little unfair of me to use war thunder as a comparison as it is much more mature and polished. However, being able to work towards a target that u can select is important in a game like this
