holy s**t that sucks
Hopefully we can get a random matchmaker and random tank chooser

sorry but now its too late to change because it will reset the whole poll if I edit it
Just vote other and dont know if you really disagree with everything on the poll
Can you explain in more detail? Why WT battleraitings?
I meant their models are confirmed.
I always thought devs gave up on t-34 and KV-1 in CAT, so I don’t think of them as confirmed confirmed
Sorry for that, English is my second language
What?
Isn’t tweaking said when someone is on high drugs?
I’m in favor of reducing the TNT’s capacity to take out tanks, (though it should have a larger shock wave than a regular grenade) but in exchange adding magnetic anti-tank mines. The wehrmacht widely used Hafthohlladung mines that could be attached manually to a tank’s metal surface regardless of angle, and could easily penetrate 140 mm of rolled homogeneous armor.
They were somewhat more dangerous than grenades and explosives as it would require running to the enemy tank and placing the mine directly on it, which would expose the soldier doing the job to potential enemy fire.
I am unware if the allies and soviets used any type of similar magnetic mines, though online sources I’ve found seem to imply they didn’t. However the germans did apply Zimmerit coating over some of their tanks to make them immune to magnetic mines out of fear that the device would be copied.
War thunder has several such vehicles coated in zimmerit, though it is only aesthetic as war thunder doesn’t have magnetic mines; but seeing as enlisted uses a lot of assets from war thunder, perhaps that zimmerit coating model could finally be put to good use.
Alternatively skip zimmerit coated vehicles but make the magnetic mines german-only for the sake of historical accuracy and asymmetrical balance, but give the other factions other ways of dealing with tanks in a similar manner, in order to avoid the anti-tank rifles being the only way to deal with tanks after TNT nerf.
Don’t forget that the T-35 is the ultimate clown car.
It doesn’t matter how thin the armor is if it has more crew members than you have ammo.
Not to mention you would have to actually crew it. Just by that it should be a rule of thumb not to add tanks with a crew greater than 7.
I really don’t think any of these tanks need to be added regardless.
Are you sure it penetrates 140mm because that’s A LOT for an early war explosive
Maybe it was used in late war because I know all nations in 1941, even Germany had troubles making a light anti-tank weapon
Anyways, I will do some research and then come up with results because I’m unsure anything in 1941 other than tank destroyers could penetrate 140mm of armour if the late war panzerfaust had 130-200mm of penetration
Maybe late war variants had 140mm penetration
or
This weapon was maybe rare so it didn’t effect the battlefield
I would like to see this in Moscow campaign
Yes, I am aware 140mm is a huge number, since most early war tanks were under 120mm thick on frontal armor and even less on the sides.
However, that is the actual penetration value that I can find online for Hafthohlladung mines from several sources. Sadly I don’t know the year they came intro production, but they were supposedly highly effective, albeit dangerous due to their nature of requiring direct proximity of the enemy tank.
They were apparently declared obsolete in May 1944 in favor of the Panzerfaust but existing stockpiles were still used
Judging from the penetration they have, I would say 1942-1943
I like your idea a lot, I mean current TNT pack probably penetrates 1000mm of armour. In Berlin I could just put it 2 meters away from the King Tiger and kill it in one blow
I would add them in Normandy and Tunisia
just to be more specific, and to show how darkflow considers the “balance”
for T34-85 there is also the D-5T which is weaker at 5.3.
For panthers, there is the D at 5.3, F at 5.7 and G at 6.0.
For tiger 2, there is 2P at 6.3, 2H at 6.7 and 2H SLA at 6.7.
For IS-2, there is the one at 5.7 and the 1944 at 6.3.
One could say EVERY MODEL in war thunder is confirmed, in that case.
No? Tweaking = minor adjusting
it’s a 100mm or so large HEAT charge that’s planted directly onto the tank using magnets. German 75mm HEAT penetrated 100mm, mind you.
That said, the H3 Hähtholadung is from I think 1943-1944
Nope, more around 30mm, seeing how it struggled with pz2 frontal armor etc.
LOL, and I thought tweaking means being on drugs
I was close
Not the same situation with me, I blew several Pz-3N’s by throwing the TNT a meter away from their 70mm armour plate
It could be bugged
Just my opinion but way too much focus on tanks. They’re a nice thing to have for sure but too many tanks will take away from this being an infantry game and turn it into war thunder
On point actually, I found their date of issue as November 1942
agreed but in order to attract people…people are thinking to make it wt2
One properly used squad of AT infantry would strongly encourage them to use infantry.
Tanks will still be vulnerable to infantry and I put a poll for tank limits bellow the ZiS 30 poll
I don’t want this game to become infantry thunder too but more vehicle options is always welcomed by me
Enlisted is above all combined arms, imo.
Having more options for tanks could allow the tanks to be removed from campaign progression and put into the green upgrade trees for squads instead.
For example, for Moscow you could have a light tank, medium tank and tank destroyer squad each unlocked via the campaign, and those would have tank unlocks at like 10 squad upgrade points per tank or so, with for example the light tank squad having BT-7, T-60 or Pz38t, Pz2, the medium tanks having T-26, T-28 or Pz3, Pz4 and the TDs having ZiS-30 or Marder III
Does this mean there still is evidence of Panzer 3L being used in Moscow? What about the HEAT shells? I voted yes under the assumption that we have proof of both being used in the Moscow campaign.
HEAT shells were used in small numbers but Pz-3L might have arrived on the battlefield too late
Just like early t-34/85 arrived just after the battle of Kursk
I don’t know how you expect TDs to be halfway functional here. 4 functional tanks per nation per campaign is enough. Especially when they have to be balanced.
