Remember the last two Halloween events?
For me the most memorable times were when I used guns that I don’t usually play with, having to make the most of guns I don’t usually play with adds an extra layer of fun challenge and increases replayability of the event.
On top of that, Fighting the “motivated” involves slightly different approaches and tactics than typical gameplay. Shotguns, flamethrowers, anti-tank rifles and melee weapons are much more fun to use against the hordes.
In the last Halloween event, most of the weapons available were Tech Tree guns, that was fine with the guns that got unique skins, but it is a little dumb to not take advantage of Enlisted´s massive collection of weapons.
I can blast zombies in many games, but cutting them up with a sword-pistol or roasting them with a flamethrowing Mosin? Now that’s something I only get in Enlisted.
These are some of the guns that I think they should definitely be in the Halloween event:

Type 97 Anti-Tank Rifle / Solothurn S18-100
Mosin with flamethrower
KB-P-135 (or any pistol calibre carbine)
LAD
Kretz P13
Liberator
Sawed-off shotgun
Luftfaust-B
Erma EMP-44
Suomi KP/-31 with flamethrower
The list is a little short on purpose, feel free to comment any gun you would like to see in the event.

Maybe, We had seen some terrible events in the past, but I dont agree with this
I really loved the Halloween events we had. They were not perfect and they are not everyone s cup of tea, but they were far from unplayable or unenjoyable.
I’d love to see a Vickers G.O. in the next Halloween event… that’d be cool, especially if we get a Scottish or SAS (or both!) hero soldier with the event.
Somehow, using that MG to shoot nazi zombies feels more realistic than parachuting out of an airplane with it. God I wish I could take them off and use them in regular squads, that paratrooper squad feels so silly…
A good mix of Italian and British guns would sure be awesome to have too, especially if we get a playable Italian and British soldier as well.
The Italian guy could be a Folgore paratrooper.
A Scottish commando would peak, too bad we don’t have Scottish voice files, it wouldn’t be as good without the iconic Scottish accent.
Come to think of it, it would be a shame not to include the Breda PG (CR) in the event.
As long as it isn’t grindy and time consuming as past events…they are fun, but gets long and tedious for 21 days ontop of the BP and other events. I hope devs test it before releasing it with next to impossible tasks…the WWI event was amazing AFTER they tweaked it.
I dunno man… 6 dudes with a banging lmg kinda slaps… I pull these dudes out to spawn on ground when I have some downtime and already have a rally point… really fun… same with Thompson 100 squad
The only Halloween event i didn’t enjoy was the previous cod style one running through the building. Other than that they’ve been quite enjoyable. I was thinking if they made a ww1 style horde defense it would be fun. They could even put in some ww1 guns for rewards like the mg08/15 or something.
Not to mention that some totally bizarre event completely unrelated to the World War II theme might offer rewards. It definitely shouldn’t feel mandatory.
Including unique and rare items as event rewards would make players feel forced to participate.
The reward should be profile pictures at most. Just like it used to be in the good old days.
I agree that there should be no rewards that you can’t get anyother way or would be completely unique.
I think that the reskinned tech tree guns were good rewards in this regard.
I would happily take some guns with unique skins, silver and apperance change orders for the event.
I must add that making Mas-38 and Patchett mk.I event rewards (Mas in 2024 April Fools and Patchett in last Halloween event) were wastes.
They have never returned in anyway since even though they were actually used WW2 guns and not one of kind prototypes.
