It would be fun to see the first world war or great war and inter war period like the
Spanish Civil War, the
Chinese Warlord period, the
winter war with Russia if you don’t count that as ww2
Mexican Civil war (Poncho Villa from bandit to Governor of Chihuahua)

I think the Sino-Japanese war and Russian Civil War would be cool addition to the game

Maybe one day we could see, as a special event, an American civil war themed battle.

The spanish civil war is kind of a meh, most weapons that took part are already in the game in moscow and stalingrad. A spain based map would be cool tho.
The Chinese warlord period is strange one too since you would need to create multiple tech trees for a single war.
Mexican war is just a no, it basically formed of small scale shootouts with no armoured support making enlisteds combined arms warfare useless
The balkan wars are the same as with china, too many tech trees with not enough weapns
