The best player should be rewarded additionally. NO!

I know the angry kids will cry and scream, but that’s not right.

What I see most in games is the comfortable position of farming. Someone picks up a tank or an airplane and farms endlessly, without putting in any effort, doing practically nothing.

I’m not going to flood you with pictures, but I have plenty that show that tank and plane players farm very quickly.

Angry kid screaming: “but if they’re killing, it’s because they’re helping”.

Not always. Not most of the time. If it’s to attack or defend a position, they don’t attack those positions, they attack where the soldiers accumulate, which gives them the most very easy kills.

More kills, more points, which makes the player always come first.

The problem is that anyone who plays with soldiers will have easy kills. To defend or capture a position, you’ll always be the enemy’s priority target and you’ll always die quickly.

Fewer kills, fewer points.

But the ones defending or capturing aren’t tanks or planes, but soldiers, who are in the carnage getting their asses kicked. And I’m not even mentioning unbalanced games here.

I think the best player should be the one who fulfills the game’s objectives the most. Because if that’s the case, I’ll get a tank, sit in the gray area and farm the whole game. I’ll come first and get the bonus that the OTHERS WHO REALLY FIGHTED won’t get.

I don’t fully agree with your argument, but I do agree that an award for the best player is not the best idea, mainly because it will encourage scummy tactics in the game. Gray zone camping, plane sueciding, excessive mindless running and shooting, you name it.

if anything, this award should go to the best player on the losing team. Then it would make more sense.

Games are already becomming so sweaty its no longer fun, im afraid this award will only make it worse.

They should double the gain currently you gain 5 silver per 47 xp which is way too low they should make it 10 silver per 47 xp and keep the reward for the best players in each team doubling the silver gain makes it so not everybody would need those best player rewards and thus less use of scummy tactics but they will not do and be sure that I’m going to be one of the scummbags with tank in the gray zone if they do not change the economy further which they wont

This game does not properly reward players who play a support role, so don’t try too hard, you will probably wonder, what is a support player? For me, it is someone who, even if he doesn’t kill a lot in the game, utility has been crucial to winning the game, whether in attack or defense, if it is in defense, it is usually the crazy one of the constructions that allows you to keep points, ammunition/medical boxes running, if it is in the attack it helps to create routes ( I have literally dug a route with a shovel to reach an area more safely to the capture area) and have good spawn for the team, but their work is criticized by those crazy people who shout “unga unga, I kill, you don’t be useful for the team, I do.”

So if vehicles truely dont matter for victory and are just there to farm points then why do the allies call the tiger 2 H OP if they can just ignore it?
Did you know that most players will clump up at the objective and most newish bombers will just dump their bombs on the objective regardless of having any confirmation that people will be there?
Just because vehicles cant capture themselfs doesnt mean that they can deplete enemy tickets or open up a breach in the enemy defences for the rest of the team to exploit.

Some players in a tank are just a EXP piniata for the enemy but some can single handedly kill half the enemy players before they can reach the point by themselfs. Saying that these players do nothing for the team would be odd.

Did you know that the defender wins by depleting the enemy tickets and not by just holding for X amount of time? This means the tank killing the most does the most for the objective aswell…
Unless you are part of that 1 out of 1000 match that ends by the 25 minutes timer but that isnt usualy how defender win.

I can partially agree with the OP.
Infantry, tanks, aircraft, each role has an expected role, and I think you should be able to get more points by fulfilling that role.
For example, tanks have the role of leading infantry to enemy CP. You’ll need to destroy waiting enemy machine gun nests, blow away snipers, and provide a shield for your infantry.
(However, if a tank stands out alone, it will quickly fall prey to Panzerfaust and TNT.)
For example, I want tanks to continuously gain points the closer they get to enemy CP with infantry nearby. For example, for every 5 seconds you stay, you get +35 score.
This way, you can get high points by being on the side of the infantry heading towards the CP.
Infantry also gain an “accompanying infantry score” while on the tank’s side near a CP.
Incorporating bonuses like this will make tanks and infantry more coordinated and focus on CP.
What I just mentioned is really just a crude idea that I just came up with, so I think it will require more discussion if it is to be implemented.
However, I really want a system where high scores are given to those who are committed to the team’s purpose.

Kinda like that idea but I highly doubt it could ever be balanced right sadly. No matter what, at least to me, the most annoying and dangerous tanks are the ones who sit well in cover while still being able to land good HE over and over. If the driver is skilled enough to stay mobile and avoid being spotted or hit from the air then it’s basically gg. Tanks anywhere you can get at them are just XP piniatas.

I would love to see bonuses for playing the objective (bonus score for kills around the objective, score for capping) and making sure rally points are pumping respawns cranked WAY up though
