The rewards don’t appeal to me at all, but I enjoyed the event more than the main game! They finally nailed the event, thank you!

well it could be better… it could use squads and score should progress towards event in the main game.

Squads would be difficult as you can’t use a lot of classes. I like the lone soldier idea because it causes you to play different…AI squadmates would get slaughtered.

Well, the rewards are awful, so it doesn’t matter. If you play, it’s for the map and the new features, not for the terrible rewards.

Unless you’ll grind the whole event out and get all the main rewards, you really can’t say you have finished it. And thus haven’t experienced the full extent of the event.
As of now, it seems like you have played a few matches. Liked the atmosphere. But will never touch it ever again, lol.
If you’re not good with a bolt action rifle (which I am not), this event is not very appealing. Kudos to the dev’s for vastly scaling back the horrible amount of artillery they originally allowed. However, it seems like the majority of players are just laying around sniping you as you try to advance, so, it may be somewhat realistic as far as a WW1 simulation goes, but it’s not very exciting IMOP as an event.
I would only be interested in the Mondragon, so, to grind with a bolt action rifle I am not good with, through a bunch of crap that is not in the least bit fun is not worth my time. I would rather just buy the Mondragon in the BP store that should have never been shut down.

Enlisted’s Tier 0 campaign is a true World War I event. While the game is quite grueling throughout, the historical details are well-reproduced, featuring biplane bombers, heavy Mark tanks, trenches, overwhelming artillery bombardment, poison gas, and even the event rewards are consistent with the WWI theme. If I collect all the weapons from the battle pass, I should be able to create separate Allied and Central Powers veteran factions for Britain and Germany, respectively.

I wish the riflemen could have had SMLEs too, I don’t like the sights on the Enfield, but other than that it was really good. It was fun and I played while singing military songs.

i am fairly certain that there are AI squads u play against to make the battlefield feel more populated
I was in a tank yesterday and if u land a good shell, it pops up saying 6x on the same player. so, i am pretty sure that AI help populate the server and players are individual, so i think it is actually pretty populated / u can get a lot of kills
agree. i only have 2 / 4 saboteus, and working full time means probs wont get the other 2
it is attack phase when bots join. otherwise there are no bots on your team.
if you have 2/4 then you can easily grind other 2(unless you only play ww1 event).

This event could be so much better if it wasn’t lonefighters. Lonefighters gamemode encourages camping and sniping by nature instead of objective play. I would love to actually rush the trenches and charge through the no mans land but it simply isn’t possible with one single badly equipped dude

true… i just get sniped by someone in prone position that i dont see when i charge the trenches.
game mode is nice for change of pace, but after couple of matches it is bland. hopefully modders will make something much better with implemented mechanisms…
