Considering all the maps, I think the best camo (considering a budget and not having to purchase every winter/summer scheme) would have to be the dark summer. Hear me out …

Every map has blown up vehicles everywhere. This color blends the best and when you are trying to sight at long distance, this helps to blend in. Especially hiding beside a burnt vehicle. The screenshots do not show really how dark it appears in game.

I know people can still mark but I have noticed this dark camo helps some. Those few seconds it gives, when another tank is trying to find you at distance, means alot in this game. I understand closeup (100m or less), vehicle camo is doing nothing.

My only beef, why so many coins? 25 gold coins would be more fair, but some players are even advocating for free camo, kind of like the perks. It used to cost but now its free. There should be at least 4 or more free camo options. A basic winter, basic urban and woodland should be a free thing for every TT vehicle. Anything exotic, you pay for. That would be a really nice improvement to the game.

It worked on me, I thought A tank was “dead” but it killed me all the same.

I thought this camo is from the T-34-E (STZ) “Artem” BP tank. That tank looked like this after it was pulled out of the swamp decades after the war. Incidentally, all the inscriptions on it were also made after it was pulled out of the swamp.

In short, this is a very strange camo.

Well, War Thunder had this feature before too.
It worked even better there; it could easily trick players in simulator battles into mistaking you for a corpse, then you could turn around and take them out just like Vietnamese soldiers. Gaijin removed it for balance reasons.
But in this game, you can just press V to check if a target is alive at any time, so this skin only creates a minor visual deception at best.
