The AI's sight range dosent have height factor

Normal players due to 16:9 monitor, no one can notice the steep high area’s things. But in this game, the bots… Even if you are top of the church and the bots is almost 90degree below your feet, they still can see you super fast as soon as you are in their sight range.


Make AI’s sight more REALISTIC!
Including view angle, target’s darkness, target’s exposed percetage of body part, etc.

BTW, if I want to write a full complain about the AI, I could write a really long thread about it.
Yes, dev are improving AI, but the improving speed is so slow and their main idea of AI (in squad mode they are still a kind of mobile spawn point, in lonefighters, they still a basic rifle man. AI should be an important role in the game) just dont satisfy us.

Ok so they only used 2-axis distance instead of 3-axis? That’s actually just dumb programming on the developer’s parts. Further strengthening my belief that they do not actually have any clue what they are doing sometimes. Honestly they should set the aggro gain bias to 1 / distance / dot product of angle between view and shoot directions

I hate the AI

I also saw that AI can’t kill anyone who is 2 meters in front of them
But they always spot a player who is getting behind their back from 1000 meters away

That’s true it’s absurd

AI also always leaves the trench for no reason and gets shot

idk why can’t devs just make AI stay in trenches

I’m hoping that with the OBT release they’ll just remove AI bots from Lone Wolf.

They do have sight breakups based on range. I don’t see an issue with you being shot at by an AI down there since you’re standing in the most open, unobscured part of the map. And not every player looks on the same view plane when moving around. Some do check obscure spots.
